  1. *makes magical hypnotizing motions with hands, and intones voice for hypnotic suggestions* Thank you! *makes more hypnotic gestures* Even without the cheeseburger. *last flourish of motion* You can wake up now. ____________________________________________________________ OT: Heading to take a shower.
  2. You are incapable of understanding.
  3. There's a huge difference between a Muslim nation on the other side of the planet, and a christian nation right next door... Especially when the government is so corrupt that people are getting killed by the government for even reporting drug cartel activity. So you're for corrupt governments... What's new? For what?
  4. Well, all I can say is, I'm not here...
  5. *makes magical hypnotizing motions with hands, and intones voice for hypnotic suggestions* You want to get me some games from my wishlist... *makes more hypnotic gestures* And a cheeseburger... *last flourish of motion* Ketchup only. ____________________________________________________________ OT: Heading to take a shower.
  6. Actually, start with the sights, and then remove them once you get the feel for it. I personally never liked the stabilizers, as they never actually helped me in any way. (they're mainly for when you want to change your bullseye to a pinwheel)
  7. What's fun about working every weekday of your life, just to stay alive until retirement, only to find out that you can't actually retire, and have to work for another 20 years? What's fun about being forced to work 2-3 minimum wage jobs just to live on your own, and not be kicked out of your lowest-end apartment? What's fun about doing nothing but work for 60-80 years straight, all for someone who's family hasn't done a day of work in 5 or more generations to make an extra $100,000,000? What's fun in that slow and painful death? Honestly, I'd rather have the chance at doing something that MEANS something, than be stuck as some number that nobody will remember in 50 years. I'm all for a war at this point.
  8. It depends all on the intention. If you intend good, and do what you can to achieve it, then it wouldn't necessarily be evil.
  9. I would be all for a war with Mexico. They're a large contributor to illegal drugs in the US and there have been reports of Mexican troops firing on US border patrol agents. Hell, if we annex them it would mean more tax money for the US, allow law enforcement to go full measure on the cartels, and increase the standard of living in the region. Which would be a political and military nightmare, with a conventional and unconventional warfare nightmare. The US would be looked down upon very much in the world. What you want is a war against the Cartels, not against Mexico. That would help Mexico, not a foreign occupation. Actually, we'd likely have the support of the general populous in Mexico... The Mexican government, law enforcement, and military is so corrupt that almost anything would be better. That's why there's such a problem with illegal immigration. Hey, now we've got at least 1 viable target for a war. Fortunately Cuba is already opening up, so unfortunately we can't add them to the war... Many of the central/south american areas are where the drugs are coming from, so maybe we could spread the war down to there after Mexico.
  10. Santa shows up, and kills the Nihilanth... It was a bad alien floating fetus this year.
  11. Political jokes are like... Political jokes. (said by a guy while high, and the delay was 12 seconds)
  12. Getting some stuff done, and procrastinating on other stuff.
  13. You might want to try a compound bow instead of a recurve... You would probly have an easier time with the bow weight. (a 35lb compound is roughly equivalent to a 25lb recurve for the pull, but much better arrow performance) As for the range... Rich people do whatever they can to make everyone else become unarmed, especially guns, but bows as well. Fortunately my area's range is on government land, and no rich people can get rid of it. (if there were any rich people around)
  14. Company of Heroes.
  15. The USA wasn't at war in the 20's, and weren't anywhere near as complacent as the general populous is right now. As for it being right after WWI, it was still fresh, but didn't take place on our own soil. I seem to have forgotten to specify earlier, we need war on our own soil to help fight this trend of complacent entitlement.
  16. Alien TV.
  17. My typical motors were F22-7 Black Jacks in my AeroTech Airspike. I ran a couple G40-10 motors once, but it started melting the nosecone I was using. (Mach 1.5+ will do that) I even got a couple night launches with it. (strap a pair of light sticks to opposing sides of the CG point, and watch it fly) Lowest power I put in it was an E23-7. It had an operator-error induce assembly flaw that made the retaining clip extend past the mounting tube by an extra inch, and I had to use masking tape wrapped around each motor to keep them from embedding too far in the tube to retrieve them. The rocket has over 150 launches, and is still fully functional. (minor damage to the top of the body tube from the parachute's elastic string) I also had a modified Quest Astra... It held up for over 50 launches without any damage. (then blew away after one launch) Used a custom baffle system and fabric parachute so I never had to worry about melted chute, or having to do anything but pack the chute, insert the motor, and press the button. (I based the design of the baffle off the one in the Airspike) Biggest modification I made to all my rockets that made them far more durable: Use epoxy (Z-poxy brand 5 or 15 minute cure time 2-part) instead of superglue. It makes a world of difference in both ease of assembly, (even though it does take a little longer to assemble) and in long-term durability. Failures can be more fun than having a usable rocket afterwards... I had one that decided to detonate the ejection charge before it finished its main burn, so it took a 50 foot horizontal flight at 15 feet of the ground, without a nosecone. I still have the thing, and it has no visible damage. Another instance where the failure was well worth it, was these guys that had a $5000 custom nitro-fueled rocket they were launching, (O-class I think) and they had it out about 200 yards from the normal firing-line... They had to lie under a ballistic blanket about 100 yards closer to the rocket than the firing line, and they still told everyone that it would be safer if they were behind their cars if possible. They did the 5-second countdown and 1 second after it hit 1... (it even sounded the same) No pieces left of the rocket that were larger than 1/4 inch that we could find. Launch pad was entirely undamaged. I was also part of the independent team that officially tested the AeroTech Sumo rocket, and corrected the design flaws. It did way too many nosedives because the nosecone allowed for too much ejection gas expansion area, and it couldn't blow it's top. Corrected it by filling part of it with foam. The entire thing resulted in Civil Air Patrol (the group that tested the Sumo) getting a contract to have extremely inexpensive Airspike rockets for their rocketry program. (think $25 for a rocket and 4 motors) Too bad you aren't in my area, I have a free range a few miles away, and I just don't have anyone to compete with. (I used to be able to put 3 out of 5 in the bullseye at 50 yards with a 35lb bow, and my last go was a 60lb that I got no bullseyes out of 20 shots at 20 yards)
  18. Preparing to play some Company of Heroes.
  19. Quote is from the owner: "Cat 6 would be better for long distance cabling. Aka one side of the house to the other to reduce transmission noise. But due to the distance to the router being null. cat4 would be just as superior to both cat 5 and 6 cables." Tell the owner they have a lot to learn about network cabling. (especially since Cat4 will get interference from wall sockets within 2 feet, and fluorescent light ballasts within 20 yards)
  20. Exactly. One major benefit: People aren't nearly as complacent during and for several generations after a war.
  21. Now watching other political videos.
  22. Thoroughly... As long as they aren't just little yippy furballs. Do you own guns?
  23. Watching Open Carry police stop videos... It's interesting the amount of bluster the cops use. I've had to do it twice myself.
