  1. I recommend Mega.co.nz for uploads.

As for the torrent, despite it being limited to your upload speed, it's only limited for the first person seeded to, then ever section of data downloaded is now limited by your speed + the downloader's upload speed, and it grows... The more people that have the torrent, the higher the download speed. If you can seed it to me, I can seed at 12-30mbps. (1.5-3.75MB/s)

  2. Even though Russia's economy is the one dropping right now.

Last I checked, Russia's economy was on the mend, if not particularly strong.

The EU economy is tanking like a boss, and the EU media is ignoring it, trying to make it look like it isn't as bad as it is. Many countries in the EU are going to be 3rd world if something isn't done soon.

  3. The Babylon Project, for Freespace 2. It's technically a standalone game using the FS2 engine, but I think it's worth a look at. The Babylon Project attempts to recreate the way space combat works in the TV series Babylon 5, with a number of custom campaigns having been made for it. I guess it's only really of interest if you're a fan of both B5 and space sims, but it's had a good amount of effort put in to it.

Sounds like fun... Now I have to go look it up.

    Since we're talking before 2008.

Eastern Front for Company of Heroes is mine.

Originally just adding the Soviet army to the game they have since added various maps, modified game balance, and added the Ostheer that contain various units from Romania and Italy. Last I check they're currently working on the Afrika Korps, the Desert Rats, and Italy as stand alone armies with their appropriate maps.

Actually, that mod didn't even have a first release until 2010, but who cares... It's a good mod for a good game.

  4. Of course we promise not to tell... *prepares to write it down, paraphrased*

*Later that night, a conspicuously plain, unmarked taco truck followed BTGBullseye home, which he only eluded thanks to a convenient alleyway and a timely red light. He was heaving for air as he burst into his apartment, yanking the blinds shut and huddling against the door. All night long, he stole wild eyed glances outside, heart jumping at every sound and imagination plagued by the thought of his pursuers. And the moments in between, he pored over the disturbing revelations that guy in the internet had shared, questions forming in his head before he could pin them down with words. Why, oh why, he lamented, didn't he walk away when he had the chance?

Only one thing was certain: The Taco Conspiracy went straight to the top...*

Or something. I hate spy novels.

Well, it's an interesting start, but the wrong character choice. (I would've probly caused the tailing car to crash, and then gone and inspected the vehicle and it's occupants for interesting stuff under the guise of "making sure everyone's all right")
