  1. Actually, he could leave it in, and have it be a malfunction in the new Hazard Suit's comm system. (it is really quite loud, and could possibly be a radio broadcast picked up)
  2. Except you've always said that I have to have sources to back up any claims I make, and you never do unless I have sources. Quite being a hypocrite.
  3. January 2nd: Second coming of Christ Damnit... Now it WON'T happen... Quite expecting it already so He can get here!
  4. Yes, having a job is important for having money for stuff like food and shelter... And internet...
  5. Getting ready to take a shower while torrenting Stargate Atlantis. (TPB going down hasn't slowed me one bit)
  6. You should try Starpoint Gemini 2... It's closer to those. OT: Star Trek Online.
  7. Now you're resorting to veiled insults instead of showing sources. This started because you made a claim and didn't back it up. You're the one who needs to provide a source. Except you have made many claims yourself, with no backing either. You also need to provide sources.
  8. If you really want to know, go ahead and watch that episode.
  9. New: I am in the process of making, from scratch materials, a belt holder for my ZenFone 6. I have to do it from scratch because there are no belt holders that I can find for 6 inch phones, that aren't for a very specific model. Ingredients: 1 dark blue denim pant leg 1 old plastic VHS case 2 magnetic clasps from old cell phone belt holders 1 spool of ultra-heavy duty black thread 1 sewing machine Process: Cut plastic case to the same size as the front & back of the phone. This leaves one very flat piece of plastic, and one with posts for holding the VHS cassette in place. Remove the center posts from that piece, and that leaves 2 1/8th inch tall circular rings sticking up past the flat surface of the plastic. Place the two magnets from the clasps in the two rings, and glue them in place. (should leave the top of the magnets flush with the top of the rings) Cut one more piece for the flap, doesn't need to be big, just wide enough to hold the other pieces of the clasp in the right place. Next, cut the fabric into the right general shape to completely surround the plastic, and the phone as well. Cut and sew a couple wide strips for use as belt loops, and sew them in place on the fabric. Pin the fabric in place around the plastic, making sure the fabric is very tight. Sew as close to the plastic as possible, with a very high number of stitches per inch, and then sew the two two sides together forming the pouch. (might want to leave a hole for headphones, but that's up to you) Sew the flap pieces of plastic, and magnetic clasps into the flap, and then sew the flap together. Finally, test and make sure everything works as designed. So far, I'm only up to the gluing of the magnets into the plastic, and I'm waiting for the glue to dry.
  10. Hence why I said you don't want to see S5E15... I really couldn't care less about tight spaces... I actually went through the child-proof locks on our kitchen cabinets, and fell asleep in the pots & pans cupboard, after closing the door, when I was under a year old. (scared my parents half to death until they found me) Now, if it's a dirty tight space, I will do quite a lot to keep from doing anything with it. (like the underside of a dirty, greasy, or rusty car)
  11. Yeah, I would rather turn in a partial, mostly unusable program than I would a couple extremely simple models that take 5 minutes to make. I do understand people that can't do more, but those people shouldn't be taking that class to begin with, or should at least withdraw from the class. (I had the good sense to withdraw from my English Comp classes early on, I know I suck at composition) The American education system isn't very good to begin with, and the media is pushing for kids to be as entitled and lazy as possible, so their work ethic is practically nonexistent when they get to a class that actually requires them to put forth some effort... This causes lackluster performance, and discourages the teachers, leading to a poor educations system... Goto 10. It's good that you're graduating, the games really are quite impressive for 9 weeks of solo between-classes work.

  13. Because it's CryEngine, and not CryEngine 0.5... (At least that's what I hear)
  14. * Asterisk.
  15. I also noticed that it doesn't matter what graphics settings you use as long as it isn't Very High... All below VH are identical framerates. VH has many visual artifacts, and bugs... Like crashing when dying. (it doesn't crash on lower graphics settings)
  16. Just tried the CryEngine game... No strafing, game crashed when I died, and no idea where I'm supposed to be heading. Other than that, it's an interesting looking design.
  17. It's a laser puzzle. Try it, it's under 20MB.
  18. 13. (thirteen)
  19. Take a lot of Valium... The more the better. How do I get people to do things they tend to not want to do?
  20. Yes, die quickly, and die often. Oh, and never, ever, ever, let yourself see who killed you!
  21. Beautiful. lol
  22. Well it's quite fun, if you get a lot more levels, and possibly several much more complex ones, it will be a very good game. If you need any texture assets, (unmapped textures, essentially just well optimized images) I might be able to assist.
  23. About the unity game, you might want to make the placement of the mirrors either snap to the ground grid, or be placed within a certain range at a variable location based on mouse clicking. Or at least make the placement distance an exact floor tile distance instead of somewhere between half and 3/4 the length of a floor tile. Other than that, and the fact that it took me a few seconds to realize that the mirror on the tank wasn't something that could be dropped, and that it could still pick up mirrors, it has a very fun feel to it. (a lot like the laser mazes in Portal 2) Waiting on the download of the CryEngine one now. Oh, and just as an FYI for others that are going to download the CryEngine game, Mega requires an addon to be installed (at least it does for Firefox) to download anything over 1GB, and this is 1.92GB. (fortunately, the download speeds are amazingly fast for a free hosting site)
  24. Computer fans, especially one of them that apparently needs lube. (not one that I already lubed)
