People that I encounter in my job of troubleshooting modems average their IQ with a carrot, and the smarter ones don't ask if I mean the P/N when I say very clearly that I need the S/N. Or the ones that only need to be told 5 times instead of the average 16 that the SSID is their network name, and the password for that network is the "WiFi Security Key".
