Well considering their studio got shut down and who knows what happened to the computer the source code was on.

It's safe to assume the person who was responsible for it simply forgot it when he was moving out.

 

Still I would have expected someone to have a backup copy of it somewhere. Did people not back up so much in those days. I know floppy disks are small but tape drives were available too.

They may have had plenty of backups, but after 10 years most floppies and tapes get corrupted...

Doomguy's Mind was funny the first time. I think after a while, it'd just get old.

 

That said, I've been wanting to do my own Mind series using Doom 3, but I don't have any decent editing software.

If you can record, I can probly edit... Or at least find you some editing software...

All I want to do right now is go to sleep... My parents however have a completely different idea of what I should be doing, and my Mom won't take 'no' for an answer. *bashes head against nearest wall*

Not for us... Just got a new modem from them, (old one was dropping the internet for hours at a time) and because we were having troubles with it for several weeks, they also bumped our speeds a few levels for 3 months. We have an unlimited data cap too, so I don't have to worry about that either.

I've done over 3TB of downloads, and 10TB of uploads on torrents, and never even gotten a warning. (I run with basic precautions, like forced outgoing encryption)

Very unfair... I agree.
