  1. 2005, but only because my parents decided that graduating at 16 (2003) would leave me with too much time on my hands for too long. (there weren't any jobs beyond seasonal for minors at that time in that location)

If you could get free infinite legitimate in-game money in every MMO there is/will ever be, and all you had to do was say "ok", no small print, would you?

  2. 2045 - Futurist Ray Kurzweil predicts a Technological singularity for 2045, i.e. a runaway cycle of self-improvement by intelligent machines, resulting in explosive technological development.

  4. YAY! I slept for 5 uninterrupted hours! (the longest I've had in 5 days)

Finally found where the bug that was crashing my mod came from... It was with the addition of the laser anti-missile system into the aircraft; it didn't like me making a new weapon to use with it, it only likes the one specific one that was designed for the other general. Too bad though, that means I have to do something else to try and balance the aircraft now. (I was going to make it about 50% effective instead of it's current 95%)

  5. It's all about likelihoods... You are less likely to contract a fatal form of a disease if you're vaccinated, but it isn't guaranteed. That's all. You're not guaranteed to contract a fatal form of any disease simply because you didn't get vaccinated, just more likely. Blaming the unvaccinated for the spread of diseases is like blaming people that don't use turn signals for all forms of car crashes.

Vaccination isn't a cure, or a guaranteed preventative, it is merely introducing a severely weakened or dead form of the virus, and hoping the immune system uses it to become more resistant or immune to that particular strain of the virus.

  6. And culture DO make a SIGNIFICANT difference. Corruption for other cultures can mean more or less, and can be easier or harder to remove with peaceful means. We don't know exactly how far the corruption has gone here, but we do know it has taken over most of the federal government, and that similar corruption in the past required either bloodshed, or the threat of overwhelming force to remove. (and peaceful demonstrations have never done a damn thing to corruption)
