no the loading screens killed all my enjoyment away, plus i don't really have fun with mindless murder, if i shoot someone in the face i like it when it has some purpose
But it has purpose... You get an achievement! You also get to loot stuff from their corpses, which might be power armor if you saved the caravan...

Pilot Precise V5 12-pack, Pilot Precise V7 12-pack, Pilot FriXion Clicker 3-pack. $30 total.
All very nice pens that I run out of way too often, so I decided on getting a bunch all at once. I also completely lost my last 3-pack of FriXion pens, and stores in my area don't carry them anymore, so I haven't had them in about a year.

wasteland 3 is not a game i ever want to replay ever again, i really WANTED to try to like it but, it just isn't grabbing me anymore, like it takes so long to get anything done, i'm mostly running around the same areas, over and over again and i'm so bored of it
Have ytou tried just killing everyone in Colorado Springs yet? There's an achievement for it.

i shot the first guy who was in my jail just cuz he looked shady as hell lol
I did that too, then decided to start over and just released him instead. That world needs that kind of insanity.

This still has the exact same effect I'm worried about. Fallout New Vegas was explicitly clear on who the good guys and bad guys were while also being openly critical of the good guys. If they want the game to be like FNV in this regard I'll be glad, and if they're less wishy-washy with the narrative than the outer worlds turned out to be then I'll definitely be impressed, but I'm not optimistic. Cyberpunk as a concept is explicitly anti-capitalist and makes a clear statement against infinite growth and other such capitalist ambitions. If they don't take a side I have no faith in the narrative of the game.
I hope I'm proven wrong but so far the game is shaping up to be mediocre at best for me.
The Corpos are usually the "bad guys" due to being the most powerful, and an almost totally uncontested group. Then again, just about everyone is the bad guy in some way, so it's a bit more realistic in that regard.
The movie Elysium is pretty similar to a Cyberpunk story.

For me, it's an "it's almost autumn" feeling.

Correct. You're missing the point. You can't avoid creating a political narrative when you're making a cyberpunk game, but considering CDPR's stated goal of not making a political statement with the game I can only assume it will end up having a shallow narrative at best.
You know how some people will say they like to avoid politics? That's because politics alienates people and makes them feel uncomfortable. I can only assume the reason CDPR wants to avoid making a political statement with the game is because they don't want to alienate people or make them feel uncomfortable, but in doing so they're likely going to sacrifice a compelling narrative.
I think their statement meant that the game doesn't force you into specific endgame results, meaning that they aren't making a statement, you get to make the political statement you want to make with your endgame. That's what I got from their interviews anyways.

I didn't realize just how much I missed cicadas until I moved into my new house and have them living in the trees around here. Any time I hear them, it makes me feel good. It feels like home.

you simply can't create a cyberpunk game with a compelling narrative if the narrative is supposed to be apolitical.
Except that every single video they show an extremely political narrative. The Corpos, Nomads, gangs, corrupt cops, etc...

i mean i can just, find the perk points number and get all the perks
Yeah, but that's a single character, and you have to waste time giving them several levels to have enough points to reliably work with on each. With a trainer, it's "type number, press TAB, Alt-TAB back to game, select perks" and the most time consuming part is selecting all the perks. Far less time wasted.

That's literally 90% of all turn-based strategy games... Why are you even playing a turn-based game at this point?
7 hours ago, RaTcHeT302 said:That is the point. They always saw the "hidden loot chest in a dungeon that hasn't been touched in 400 years, with a brand new machine gun" thing as stupid, and this is their response. Make something absolutely absurd give it out instead. They had this in both previous games too. The toast itself is the best food in the game too.
7 hours ago, RaTcHeT302 said:this is why i cheat in RPG games, cuz otherwise i'd always skip the fun stuff, since i always am forced to min max if i ever want to have fun with these games
Wasteland is literally designed (and always has been) to make minmaxing a core mechanic. You're not playing a single character, you have 4 custom, and 2 premades, and you can easily minmax to cover everything. This makes it much easier to balance the game too.
7 hours ago, RaTcHeT302 said:Yeah, that really does feel like a cheat doesn't it. Not really a cheat though, but extremely helpful for the entire driving section of the game.
7 hours ago, RaTcHeT302 said:edit: aw, most lvl 10 perks are lame, i was hoping there would be cooler ones
They are actually quite powerful in actual use, especially the one that lets you launch mini-nukes from your rocket launchers. (bye bye all cover, light it all on fire, irradiate the enemies that survive, and kill non-bosses)

mh no i know how to use cheat engine, i wouldn't have much need for it, plus i just maxed out all my stats and skills and i can cut through anything without too much of a problem, having more abilities is redundant when people just explode when shot now xD
Some of the perks, like one of the toaster repair ones, can give you unique items that you can't get any other way. That said, I understand where you're coming from.
9 minutes ago, RaTcHeT302 said:the loading times are still pretty horrible though, they are really off putting, and i'm not feeling particularly engaged, i'm murdering a ton of people but it feels like the game is moving VEERY SLOWLY
Yeah, that is something they need to look into fixing, but it might be that way to allow more systems to be able to run the game, and I can't really object to that if it's the situation.

I collect CDs, which I see as a sort of compromise between efficiency and the desire for tangible material possessions. I still enjoy having my music around as physical objects, but CDs are overall the cheaper, more durable and more space-friendly option, and it's a lot easier to extract data from them if I want to. I'm sure I'll eventually cave in and buy some vinyl once I'm no longer able to control my urge to acquire obscure avant-garde jazz releases from the 70s and 80s that have never been re-released on CD, but for the moment there's still a wealth of weird music on CD to sate my hunger.
That's the problem with CD... The RIAA and Sony always hated them because it made it easier to rip a digital version, part of why Sony put an outright virus on some of their CD releases back in the day. That's why vinyl is making a comeback, and why a bunch of releases are vinyl only. (like the Star Trek Picard soundtrack)
