I've seen a few different states try this... It didn't work.

If it could work, I'd be all for it, (though a slightly different value on donations) but as far as I've seen, it won't.

I used to have a GB color, but I only had it because it had bent cartridge receiver pins, and I was going to fix it... My Mom threw it away a week before I got the tools needed to fix it. Had 3 Pokemon, and 4 other games for it too. (all trashed because my Mom didn't see any reason to keep them)

I know people who would pay more than the original price just to have a working GBC and those games. (would've been about $350 in my pocket 6 months ago)

I've manged to get the enemies to be close enough to walls or at the right angles to be able to pin only a handful of times... I'd be hard pressed to duplicate it while recording.

Blue Shift and Opposing Force were never made into Source engine...

Ok, so these are for the non-Source version then... I don't have any of the GoldSrc Half-life games.

The problem is that all the legal channels are either mostly or totally corrupted right now... When they're all too corrupt for a fix to go through legal channels, then there isn't any choice.

They have to be really close to the wall for it to pin them.

I'm actually hoping it will come to that, since I have plenty of history to back me up on my reasons... The corrupted will never give up unless they are killed, and they will never be killed in anything short of a full scale civil war.

I don't know why, but it will only pin vorts to walls, and only pin headcrabs to the floor.

Very much this. It'll be good for those of us who weren't able to donate this time around but may be in a better situation next time. I've been following Freeman's Mind for probably about 2 years, myself and I'm looking forward to plenty more. Hopefully Half-Life will come to some sort of conclusion by the time you catch up with them all (assuming you continue into and through Half-Life 2).

You can donate any time, the event was asking for enough for a specific computer component rather than the typical "money for food" donations.
