  4. Granted, now instead of learning how to barely beat a pointless test, you learn nothing at all. (but you still have to sit in class all day) I wish that I wasn't as bored as I was...
  5. How many of you stared at that last one trying to figure out what was mistranslated?

  12. Granted, you now have the girl nicknamed "Three Fifty" because of her weight, but because of her ethnicity and location of residence it always comes out "Tree Fiddy". She now takes possession of you, since that's just how she does things. I wish that everyone in the united states who could legally acquire a gun (regardless of current gun ownership status) would be given a good new handgun of whatever style they prefer and 1000 rounds of ammunition for it. (a Ruger SR9/SR40/SR45 for automatic users, or a Ruger Blackhawk/Super Blackhawk/Vaquero/SP100/GP100/Redhawk/Super Redhawk for revolver users)

  15. Had an ear infection, but because I was in a government funded facility that was supposed to teach me a trade (which I actually knew more about than the teacher, he even said so after 3 weeks of me proving it) it took 3 days before the teacher let me out of class to get it looked at. (the medical center on-campus wouldn't let me out of class long enough to get it looked at) When I finally got to the center after the teacher sent me there, I sat and waited for another hour for a doctor. Turned out the nurses hadn't even bothered telling the doctor that I was there, so I just sat until a doctor walked by. He asked if I was being treated or not, then took me into another room to give me a topical pain treatment as a temporary fix until I could get looked at properly. Took a month to get rid of the infection since it moved to the other ear, and then tried to move back. It also nearly perforated my ear drums, and I'm now a bit more hard of hearing. (in addition to my tinnitus) The nurse that didn't tell the doctor that I was waiting got fired the day after I went in. Whatever you do, don't ever get an ear infection at a Job Corps. (the government funded facility in question, located in Salt Lake City)
  16. I don't know.
  17. I guess my whole argument comes down to, if you've never used a gun in your life, you have no right to make any decisions concerning them. I f the best you can come up with is statistics, you're no better than a government entity that doesn't really care about the lives involved. I was recently in contact with a friend of my sister, her husband had a revolver in the house for defensive purposes, but it ended up killing her 3 year old... Know what she said about it? She wishes she had kept closer watch on her kid. That's all. She doesn't blame the gun, she doesn't blame her husband. (now ex for other reasons) How would you respond to her opinion that guns shouldn't be legislated against? I was also talking to another friend from one of the bad gang neighborhoods in Phoenix, AZ (she moved away from those neighborhoods years ago) and has had 1 brother, and both parents killed by guns. She's not anti-gun, even though she's never owned one. She also thinks gun laws are stupid, though she used significantly more colorful terms in describing the futility of making laws concerning people that don't obey any laws. What is your response to her position?
  18. So you're saying that Americans with guns are more civilized than Brits... I agree.
  19. Unfortunately the complete lack of weapons in these kind of games renders it pointless to me. In a similar situation in real life, any intelligent person would find SOMETHING to defend themselves with...
  20. Do you have even the remotest of proof of that? Vermont has the most guns per-capita in the US, and people there don't have to have a concealed carry permit to carry concealed weapons... It also has the lowest crime rate per-capita in the world. (in every category)
  21. "I hate BSODs."
  22. Yes, and you still haven't said anything about the fact that a person with a gun is a lot less likely to be killed or attacked by any criminal.
