Metro 2033, the game works now.

My most memorable recent dream was one where I was a member of a small mining/trade/cargo ship, and we were at some facility on Mars, and some experimental reactor exploded and pulled alien blob things through from their dimension. The blobs were effectively unstoppable, and would eventually spread to the entire rest of the galaxy, so the ship I was crew on had to head out and try to find a stop to it. I ended up doing some research on the way to our first stop, and made some cool weapons that could easily stop the alien blobs, but that was just a side thing, not even worth sending the info back to Earth/Mars apparently. The first stop was some junkyard run by bandits, and in order to get into their base we had to lure them all out, and kill them. To do that we apparently faked the destruction of our ship, then on the way to our ambush point our hot young redhead female human comms officer got a sprained ankle, so I picked her up and carried her the rest of the way. While the dozen or so ambushers were hiding, those of us that were supposed to be bait got bored with waiting, and I decided it would be a good time to start doing foreplay on the comms officer. She decided she liked it, and helped out, until the bandits arrived. We sprung the trap, we got the bandit's reactor thing that would reverse the damage, and headed back to Mars. On getting to Mars, they had destroyed all but one of the aliens, but I ended up telling them how to contain and herd it into a small room. I then said that it was actually what passed as a cow (bovine) in an alternate universe, and that I had been partially pulled through to the other universe during my research on the reactor we brought. Then we found out that it was actually a heavily mutated human, and that it was actually caused by an experimental chemical spill in the other universe, in which the Nazis had been the good guys during WWII, and had won, and now controlled the entire planet, and that they were covering up the spill by using the mutants as livestock because they produced significantly more milk than cows, and were tastier meat when slaughtered. We then did a bit of research and found out how to reverse the process, but a spy from the other universe tried to stop us by saying that if we did, their entire economy would collapse. We fixed her anyways, and it turns out that they had genetic memory that only fades after 3 or 4 generations, so she could speak, and she wanted to go home and free the rest of the mutants... This is one of my least confusing, and least odd dreams that I've ever had. Now you know why I'm insane, it's all because of the dreams. But at least I get to make out with hot girls, do foreplay, and even have sex in exciting situations in them, so I try to foster the insanity.

Have to vote "Very No". I know people that like this show, but they are also people who laugh at things that aren't even remotely funny, or don't laugh at things that are totally hilarious.

I'm a little late to get here, but I just did... Now don't say that Christmas is over, because that's just the opposite of what happens. Christmas is the FIRST day in the 12 Days of Christmas song, and if you actually look at the history, you'll find that the Christmas season is supposed to start on the 25th of December, not the fourth Friday of November. (as all the corporate entities in the US would like to have you believe)

I voted Kit-Kat, but top of my list is Whatchamacallit.

Metro 2033... Got to the point where Sasha gets off my back, and walk up to the mother, she says her lines, and nothing happens. (no, it doesn't freeze, it just glitches to not let anything happen after she talks) I'm checking to see if a file is corrupted, or if I just need to try loading from an earlier point. [EDIT] Game file didn't pass verification, so hopefully that was the whole problem... I'll check later, it's early, and I need to sleep.

Space Invaders was fun... Still is on occasion... Galaga's better though.

https://www.eff.org/deeplinks/2012/12/first-sale-under-siege-if-you-bought-it-you-should-own-it Looks like companies are really pushing right now to make it so the we as consumers can't actually own anything that we buy...

Sounds like the concussion did a little bit of damage. As for art, have you tried non-precise sculpting? Heck, even tack-welding random pieces of junk metal together in interesting patterns sells for thousands of dollars nowadays.

BTGbullseye [AF] This is in case people don't want to go looking back through the pages for mine...

Too bad I don't have much money, and some of the stuff I'm giving to my family are my old stuff... Also, got the THQ Bundle (above average) for me (another regular copy for a friend), and the Humble Bundle 7. (above average, for me and friend) Lastly, got DOTA 2 from Alyxx.

Bioshock Infinite making big claims about ending
BTGBullseye replied to Ross Scott's topic in Gaming in general
I wonder if the ending is going to turn Windows computers into Linux computers... Never seen a game ending do that to anyone... -
Planetside 2 Almost a cross between Battlefield, Tribes Ascend, and Halo, with just a bit of CoD. A persistent MMOFPS with several classes, some slight balance issues, but nothing major. Borderlands 2 My pick for GOTY 2012. An epic sequel to an epic game. Play it if you haven't. Torchlight 2 A sequel that seems to fix most, if not all of the issues that I had with the original Torchlight. 4 classes, multiple pets, and gameplay that got started with the Fate series. Hawken If they either decrease prices, or increase the money you get per-round, then it'll be one of the best, and most immersive “mech” gameplay I've ever experienced. MMOFPS Mech awesomeness! (no destructible physics objects though) Tribes Ascend A decent followup from Tribes 2, though the prices for items are just a tad high. If you ever hear someone say that paying to get items without earning them doesn't give much of an advantage, slap them for me please. Mechwarrior Online I have yet to actually play this game, but from everything I've seen and heard about it, it'll be the best of the entire series of Mechwarrior video games. Assassin's Creed 3 The last of the series, (maybe) concerns the end of the world. It gets rid of most of the frustrations that people had with previous games, but also adds a couple frustrations of it's own. Closure Featured in the Humble Indie Bundle 7, it's all about light and dark. The world only exists in the light, so don't walk in the shadows. Carrier Command Gaea Mission A new way of playing strategy games, and a very fun one at that. (when it doesn't bug out on you) The reason I only have 9, and not 10 is because there was a game that one of my friends was going to make and release, but he ended up in an accident, and died. The 10th slot is reserved for him and his would've-been-awesome game.

Yes, if you pile up all the dead bodies that you make in one game, it'd be a huge pile... There is no shortage of US servers that are full at any given time... Averages around 30% of the population of TF2. (total population of TF2, not number of servers)

Company of Heroes.

Looks like after the 27th for me... Minimum.

Yup. Sad ain't it...

Is that a near implication that they might be trying to do to you what Facebook is doing to it's users?

I've always been of the opinion of "If it isn't something you NEED, then don't take it." I have had the opportunity to get some really cool painkillers before, (pulled wisdom teeth, major ear infections, etc.) but I have yet to actually take any of the pills. I know what they do, and have no reason to take them. Your particular psychosis I also have, but I suspect that my upbringing and personal experience has led me to be able to control their effects much better than you. I do not take pills, but I have figured out ways of mitigating most of the effects. ADD/ADHD, listen to music while doing everything, while doing that try to listen to different aspects of the music, and see if you can figure out what makes certain sounds, harmonies, etc. Social anxiety, that's a hard one... It's hard when all you want to do is either melt into the corner and be invisible, or leave the crowd... Or worse, remove the crowd. (I occasionally have that one) I find that one still extremely difficult to get past, and I still just have to outright fight it, and put on a front that I actually am enjoying myself. (personally, I think being forced to be in a crowd is one of the worst tortures there is) Another thing that seems to work for me in small crowds (less than 30 people) is becoming the center of attention. (embarrassing usually, but more often than not you'll get a lot of people that like you, and the crowded feeling all of a sudden starts to just die away) That's just me though.

I would donate blood if I didn't have a unique reaction to the needle being in me... All of the blood being pumped to my extremities gets sucked back to my core, and it can actually suck the blood out of the vacuum vials. (only seen it happen once though) Only way to get it to flow is to take it straight from a semi-major/major vein, and hope I don't black out. (if I do black out, my heart is stopped, and it has almost happened twice) This reaction has led to my extreme dislike of needles designed to withdraw blood or give injections. As for organ donor, I am one... I figure, once I'm dead, if they can find an organ that I'm not using (all of them) that they can use, then why not... I'm not going to be using it for the foreseeable future, right?

True... Even most insane people with homicidal tendencies would find somewhere better to start shooting. I'll give it one more week.

Not satisfied with the discussion, just done trying to explain reality to someone who is either a troll or is intentionally ignoring what is being said.
