  1. None of the other forums I lurk on do old games like this. Newer ones are much easier to do things with, but changing the view angle limits should be fairly easy if you can figure out where in the program the values are limited at. (that's the hard part)

Posting on forums like that is a good idea though.

  2. Huh. Wouldn't have expected to find this thread on this board. I'm ShovelsWorkWellEnough, Shovels for short. My odd username (and derivative title) originates from a dream I had a while ago about an alternate version of the movie Alien where the Nostromo crew just beat the titular creature to death with shovels. I'm a tabletop roleplaying fan, videogame nerd, and general sci-fi geek. I'm just getting into PC hardware, in fact I recently built a machine with difficulty, but was successful. I've lurked here for about a week, and am now posting. So yah!

Let me know if you need any pointers about computers... I am a hardware guru, and I'm working on getting certified in Linux. Welcome to the forums. :)

  3. Sleeveless t-shirt, silver-grey shorts with orange stripes on the sides, underwear, (NOT boxers, they're horrible) a scapular, and a cross (used to be a crucifix, but Jesus disappeared one day and was found a week later over 800 miles away, never put him back) that has gotten at least 100 positive comments on it in the past month.

Oh, and an ABS FX-8 headset that I've rewired 3 times, and glued back together twice.

  4. I played it for a few months, but then they started releasing cards that got rid of all the strategy that used to be in the game.

I usually ran one of two decks... A green/blue infect with a few unblockables/indestructables, or a blue/artifact infect deck designed to buff a few small infects to be unblockable 1-hit-killers. Beat a $250 sliver deck with my $7 blue/green infect... lol

  5. You can build anything with a pair of pliars and some duct tape.
This is my favorite duct tape project:

    ANOTHER RED GREEN FAN!!! YAY!!!

Duct tape and super glue means you can do anything! Just give Freeman some, and he'll make the Gluon gun.

  6. Yeah, that was all Adobe Flash stuff if those are the circumstances... XP had almost all of it's holes filled before 7 came out. The few remaining were filled shortly after XP ceased being supported, everything else is due to other programs, not the OS.
