Snakes... They're very cool. You can reason with them, spiders you usually can't reason with.
TF2 + my dedicated server or TF2 + some other server?

Did you know, it's almost impossible to get an answer to a Dedicated Server problem question that isn't "do port forwarding"? (even if you've already told them it isn't a port forwarding problem)

@blueI don't mind so much that you prefer to talk that way, it's just that not everyone is hard wired to understand it. I'm one of them. I am severely Attention Deficit for one(no seriously. If it wasn't for medication, I would have dropped out in the 7th grade.) so I just don't have the patience to sit through long posts with advanced language if it can be summed up in a much more add/learning disability manner.
Also, before I go on, I have to say that another way I'm hard wired is that I have a very difficult time conveying what I see in my mind. I can know what I want to say, but find myself lacking in the ability to say it in an understandable manner, so forgive me if the following seems contradictory, broken, or flawed in any way.
I have a bit of a learning disability. Never been diagnosed for it but I know for certain given that thing's need to be explained clearly or I am unable to make out what it is they're trying to convey to me(assuming the speaker is being too figurative in their explanation) meaning the infamous "big words" have to be kept to a minimum for me. in classes, I'm often asking the instructor what they mean by what they just said, followed by me giving examples of what I think they might be saying, just so I can find a way to "visualize" what it is they mean, and requiring multiple different explanations of it. Kinda like I'm building my understanding of the subject piece by piece.
Now, how this relates to your posts. I'll put it bluntly: I physically cannot understand most of what you say. I'm not intimidated, annoyed, or afraid of looking stupid, I just cannot understand something so far from the basic forms of the explanation. in fact, I'm a tad jealous that there are people out there so intellectually advanced, while I'm always reduced to having to have thing's put in a "for dummies" term.
This is why I steer clear of the serious debates section. I'm constantly misunderstanding posts or unable to understand what it is they're talking about.
I'm not saying stop posting like that. if that's the way you want to post, by all means, do so. But just know that there's a good reason why I often have to ignore or skip over them.
but don't get me wrong, I;m not a blazing idiot and I'm not stupid. I get some of the highest grades in my classes, but that's because I know of my problem and have self methods I use between classes to help me stay on par with the rest.
For all I know, I may be high functioning autistic.
heh, not quite venting but I felt it needed to be said and this offered the perfect chance to say it. :/
Edit:
Some signs of high functioning autism:lack of skill in interacting with others
little understanding of the abstract uses of language, such as humor or give-and-take in a conversation
obsessive interest in specific items or information
strong reactions to textures, smells, sounds, sights, or other stimuli that others might not even notice, such as a flickering light
Unlike people with other forms of autism, people with high-functioning autism or Asperger's syndrome want to be involved with others. They simply don't know how to go about it. They may not be able to understand others' emotions. They may not read facial expressions or body language well. As a result, they may be teased and often feel like social outcasts. The unwanted social isolation can lead to anxiety and depression.
Aside from the depressed part, that sounds about right for me. Why do I get the feeling that my parents would scoff if I said "mom, dad, I may be high functioning autistic"?
Actually that sounds remarkably similar to me... (ADHD for me though) Except a friend of my family was an English teacher, so I can understand the complex writing used by Blue.
I also have an impossible time with putting complex ideas to text...

TF2 on my Dedicated Server... 67.190.76.155:27015
Apply to me for Admin status on the server... I plan on keeping it up for as long as I possibly can. (preferably all week, and beyond)

I don't think they're giftable copies.
If you already own a game in a pack that you buy, all duplicate copies automatically become giftables. (you can't have 2 copies of the same game on the same account, but you still payed for the second copy)

You average one run every ~4 days. How you can achieve this frequency is head-scratching worthy enough, but how you can play the same thing 50 times over within such a short period of time without getting bored to the point of wanting to shoot yourself in the head is just mind-boggling.
If I had a seemingly infinite patience like that I would use it for something productive like breezing through uni.
Actually my average play-time per run is actually 3 hours now... I've found some very interesting shortcuts/glitches.

I hate to see Dedicated Server tools that take 2 weeks of trial and error to get working as they're supposed to, and guides that keep saying that my problem is port forwarding even when I know that isn't the problem.

Huzzah! Dedicated server courtesy of BTGbullseye! Obviously we're playing here on Friday.

Yup, and I'm planning on keeping it up for the entire week. Please come stress test it for me!

BBcode of the youtube embedding sort?
That can actually cause significant slowdown of the site...

Granted, but none of it works.
Granted, but one of the side effects of the immortality is insanity, so we mercilessly pursue you.So? I'm dead remember?
I wish people didn't twist messages to suit their agendas.

There is a difference in those comparison screenshot, but I don't really see it all zoomed out.
Try it on your own games to see it's difference. It visually works almost exactly like MSAA only with no performance impact.

Sounds good, but let's look at the implications.
1. No problem yet.
2. Assuming you're not initiating force, what's to stop others using force to stop you from stopping you from doing whatever?
3. Assuming you earned your food (you hunted for it, worked for it etc), what's to stop others from forcibly taking it from you?
4. Same as 2.
5. Same as 3.
6. Same as 2.
7. Same as 3.
8. Same as 2.
9. What's to stop others from taking your bed or holding you in slavery?
In hindsight, your response would probably be something like "private security corporations"; I would respond "you mean competing gangs." A corporation's goal is to make money; this isn't inherently a bad thing (as I've said many times) but what determines the success of the corporation is how much force they can use. The Mafia called themselves private security corporations, would extort money from stores, and would blow up the store should the store owner default on the payments; how are they any different?
In capitalism, the ruling principle is justice and objectivity; in anarchy, it's force. In capitalism, men peacefully compete with dollars; in anarchy, they compete with guns. A society where the only rule of law are competing security corporations means a society where force rules--and in that society:
When force is the standard, the murderer wins over the pickpocket.
The thief wins over the pickpocket, the robber wins over the pickpocket, and the murderer wins over the robber.
You still seem to think of Anarchy in a way that it isn't defined. It is defined only in the fact that there is no governing system. That aforementioned 'typical day' is what I do every day here and now. Nothing significant really changes when there is no government, except that there is greater leeway for certain types of psychotic individuals.

Granted. You become invisible due to being vaporized.
