Well seeing as I have surpassed my 1337th post count here's is my giveaway. 11 games that everyone can download free for a limited time, if you want to pay for your own copies of the game to support the charities, developers etc. here is the url- http://www.humblebundle.com/ but I paid $30 for it so you shouldn't worry about it too much if you just download the free games from the link at the top.
The games are totally DRM free and you guys can share the link to your friends if you absolutely must as I bought my own pack separately.
Cool, thanks.
Only ones I'm downloading though are Steel Storm (used to have a 2d one just like it, love the genere), Revenge Of The Titans, and Hammerfight. (looks like a mod of the game Rubber Ninjas, only better)

I just realized my post count just surpassed 4000...
Only 750 posts for me to catch up to you... Congrats.

With two exceptions (Voyager #16, and the "Seven of Nine" book), I own a copy of every Star Trek novel ever written.
Bravo sir! You are my hero.

The only things I really collect are busted and broken mechanical and computer parts. I have a melted emissions pump from my Dad's F-350, a warped rotor from my car, several interesting small parts, a partially melted gear from an old diesel generator for a steel mill, and innumerable computer bits.
Oh, I also collect really cool and rare rocks that I find out in nature. Rare ones I have are an unopened geode (x-rayed to find out that was what it was), a rough diamond (uncut), a very small emerald embedded in a solid chunk of rose quartz, a gold nugget with silver laced throughout it, a piece of petrified wood, and a large chunk of crystalline pyrite. None are stored at my apartment, so don't bother breaking in to get it.

Lonely Day - System Of A Down
Love this song.

ujelly?
My house is VERY close to this. It's in walking distance, actually.
Too bad I didn't have a camera back when I lived in SD... Used to get flooding in the rural areas every spring. Sometimes you could actually walk out on some of the roads that were just barely flooded, reach down and pick up bluegill that were still flopping across the road. Fun.

Maybe we should do another group run within the next 2 weeks. No guarantees that I'll ever be able to make another one again after that.

Am I the only one who noticed that the OP spelled "Team Fortress 2" incorrectly?
No, but the last time we mentioned it the OP started a flame war. (not this OP, but nevertheless)

I had no issues with Windows Vista, although I did have 4GB ram.
And the 4GB mark is where you stop having issues with Vista. Everything below that causes tons of instability, and nobody but Microsoft really knows why.

I don't think he's crazy. I think he's evil.
I know it's currently popular to believe that the two things are one and the same, but I don't and never will.
Your political incorrectness is much to my liking. I agree completely.

What is selfish? The literal definition of it is concern for one's own interest. That means when you eat, you're being selfish since you're sustaining your own life. When you work and pursue your own values that make you happy, you're being selfish.
I hate to see people that post wrong definitions.
self·ish [sel-fish]adjective
1.
devoted to or caring only for oneself; concerned primarily with one's own interests, benefits, welfare, etc., regardless of others.
2.
characterized by or manifesting concern or care only for oneself: selfish motives.
The key here being "regardless of others" and "care only for oneself". You aren't being selfish by eating to sustain your life, but you are if you withhold food from another when it wouldn't hurt you not to. Working and pursuing your own goals is not selfish unless it prevents another from doing the same.
Look up the definitions before you twist the truth to support your statements.

You got a gaming PC and you're playing Maplestory? THE HORROR!
^^^That.^^^
Just finished DNF. Seemed a bit mediocre to me, other than the nice topless girls.
-
Just finished my first playthrough... Other than a few interesting ways to get an Ego boost, the only really fun parts for me were the topless girls.

I think Ross would be more than slightly hesitant to give someone he doesn't know his posting address.
Ross could just use a P.O. box... Usually only $12/Mo.

I've never seen objective evidence that one processor is better than the other. Some people say Intel is good, while other people swear by their lives AMD is better.
Look at this site, and you can choose which processors are better... http://www.cpubenchmark.net/
It utilizes comprehensive benchmarks for everything it tests, then categorizes them, even putting overclocked processors into their own category. Also has Video Card and HDD benchmarks. (the GTX 465 holds the best price-performance spot, and the GTX 470/480 & 570/580/590 cards hold the top 5 performance slots)

BTGBullseye, I'm interested to see how this society would work. Would you care to discribe an average day in the life of a person living in Anarchy?
Depending on tech level of course...
- Wake up.
- Do whatever. (maybe go get food)
- Eat breakfast. (stored food probly)
- Do whatever. (maybe go get more food)
- Eat lunch. (stored food probly)
- Do whatever. (maybe go get more food)
- Eat dinner. (stored food probly)
- Do whatever. (maybe go get more food)
- Go to bed.
Usual method of gathering food would be hunting, farming, or trading stuff for food.
- Wake up.
-
Maxbun, come here so I can slap some sense into you.
-
That would make sense if it was accessing my hard drive like crazy, but I have 6GB of RAM and it's not even breaking 2.5GB most of the time. It still doesn't explain why I'm having input lag when typing emails in Gmail now.
Same here, but for some odd reason I've found it to reduce input lag a bit, as well as reduce response time in certain programs. Maybe it only does it for me... Don't ask me why it would, it just does it.
-
Banned for thinking that what I'm doing even remotely resembles what I'd do if I was, as you put it "worked up".
-
Nice way to be a dickhead.
Thanks.

I'm always looking for ways to improve though...
-
I think there was plenty of room for improvement over XP, but I totally agree on the speed thing. Windows 7 feels smoother, but it also feels slower. Maybe it's how buffering for Aero works, I'm not sure, but I'm absolutely noticing some very minute input lag on some programs / maybe overall. For example, if I type an email, I can tell the difference compared to typing in XP. I'm sure it's only milliseconds, but at the speed I type, I'm noticing some very small input lag. It's a lot worse inside Adobe's programs, but that could just be Adobe.
I think it may help for you to utilize ReadyBoost... You just need some kind of USB jump drive, like a 2GB USB memory stick. Seems to speed up certain things that don't seem like they'd be affected by it.
-
Good music, game's gonna be awesome.
Can't wait till I have a computer that can run it...
-
(if the movie Black Hawk Down is any accurate representation of an Anarchy)
Anarchy has not ever been shown accurately by any media controlled corporation.

Banned for using something as moronic as "Equstrian internal affairs" for a ban reason.
