Well, let's put it this way. We can turn lead into gold with supercolliders. http://chemistry.about.com/cs/generalchemistry/a/aa050601a.htm . We create our own elements. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Synthetic_element
But each of those use existing things affecting other existing things... No 'nothing' involved.

N64 - First actively 3d console with lots of good games.
The Playstation was released two years before the N64.
The PS1 was not a mostly 3d console. It used mostly 2d based games. I would consider the PS1 as a stepping stone between the SNES and the N64.
Atari - The originator of all consoles.
I'd say that's the Magnavox Odyssey.
That is your opinion. I don't think that consoles would be the same if that was widely recognized as the start of the consoles.
Nintendo Virtual Boy - Great concept. Starfox on it was awesome.
Isn't that the one that only used red and black, gave people headaches after less than an hour, had only 22 games, and was discontinued less than a year after release?
Yes. I never got a headache, but then again my right and left eyes can easily process information separately.

I envy you guys for being able to buy from NewEgg.
Big bonuses for tech prices in the USA... Glad I'm here...

Zelda, no question.
2x SLI with GTX 570's or 3x SLI of GTX 480's? (do some very basic research before answering this, it takes 30 sec)

Unfortunately I got tired of this thread.

Banned for thinking fast and slow are the same.

Posting overused memes does not endear your argument to anyone.

Sorry BTG lol

That's ok... I'm content with my sheer amount of -rep. Of course Michael Archer earned his bottom slot...

As for making something from nothing, we are getting close.
I'd like to see any evidence of that.

I say logitech.
So specific... [/sarcasm]
Enjoying me some music atm. I have been very happy with my Sennheiser HD 595 ever since buying them, though after roughly 1.5 years of service the left speaker started acting really strangely. It is like something in there is loose. Tapping on the speaker with my fingers either improves it or makes it worse depending on seemingly pure luck. What I hear is some strange background sound that seems to be caused by loudness and/or low frequencies. It might even suddenly "drop out" if I'm not careful with the volume knob and as a result only hear proper sound from the right speaker while the left one only produces nonsense consisting of loud crackling and buzzing. A good slap with my palm on the left speaker usually fixes that but the background noise is harder to get rid of.I am cheap so I am willing to use the finger tapping method whenever the left speaker acts up somehow. Beats spending money. When they do work fine for a while the sound is just magnificent.
Not a bad set of headphones there... Might just be that one of the speaker cones has broken it's glue.
My headset is an ABS FX-8. (contrary to the tech specs, I've clocked their high-end response to >32khz; the low-end response is accurate though) Got them on sale on Newegg for $50. Best sound I've heard out of any headset excepting one set of refurbished Sennheisers that had custom cones/magnets.

When it comes to books, I only like it in Third person.
Commonly called a narration...
I have no opt. disk drive to play bluray disks either (The good ones are murderously expensive here still.).Neither do I. Price is my main constraint as well. (lowest price one here is $65, and I wouldn't trust it with an expensive disc)
MKVs at full quality for the entire Blu-ray disc can usually fit on a DVD-DL, so why don't they just make everything into MKV players, and put it on DVDs?

Wow, nice work SmartGuy! Never expected someone to go through all that effort.
Indeed! I like being the lowest rep, and the best -ratio.
I think it would be pretty cool to have this dynamic variable in each member's profile, below post counts.Hear hear!

Did you know that catfish in some lakes formed by dams can grow to be as big as a semi-trailer rig?
One of my father's friends was a diver cleaning out an intake duct for one of the turbines, saw the catfish's eye... It was as big as his torso. (catfish are carnivorous) Scared the hell out of him. The fish coulda swallowed him in one gulp, and not needed to chew. Lends a bit of credibility to Jonah getting swallowed by a giant fish. (if anyone says it was a whale, slap them)
