  1. The majority of my dreams of the future I don't remember until right before the event, and then it is a "total recall" experience... I have yet to be killed, simply because of these "total recall" moments happening right before something would kill me. (car accident, bullet, a small meteorite)

  2. From birth to teenage.

    Then your definition is lacking.

Definition: A son or daughter of any age.

    Completely agree.

    Then why did you?

But you said that "killing children" should not be done for stem cell research.

Have they implanted into a uterus? Once they have, then it is murder, not before.

Since nobody here shares my penchant for Catholic ideals, I am not using the "from conception" argument.

  3. I like intel, amd, and nvidia. But I just don't feel like overpaying by tons for no reason. My x6 is about $200 and outperforms an i7 that costs much more than that. My 6870 is about $210 and outperforms an nvidia card worth $260 (gtx 470).

You haven't looked at the new Intels then, or the GTX 560 cards...

  4. This may be kinda strange, but I actually want another Halo spoof. The one he made for april fools this year made me laugh. alot... DON'T JUDGE ME!!!!

Everyone cracked up for that one... All that boring pointless nothing, then the perfect ending... I even got my father (who doesn't laugh at anything game related, ever) to chuckle at it.

  5. Abortion doesn't kill children.

What is your definition of "child"?

If you suggest that fetuses, embryos or even single-celled fertilized eggs are "children", then perhaps you could say that pro-choice "kills children" but then you are a corpse (you will be, someday) and the English language is dead because any word can mean anything. Tablet brick potato llama.

Equating the beginning with the end is not logical.

But, back to IVF, embryos ("living children"?!?!?!?!) are killed by the literal cartload and I hear no qualms about that...so I'm curious why they can't be used for stem cell research.

Never said they couldn't, just said they aren't.

  6. Atheism doesn't drive anything...because it isn't anything. It is the LACK of something: belief in a deity.

Lack of belief is a belief. You can't not have a belief of something that you know about.

You either believe God/gods/deities exist, you believe they don't exist, or you believe both could be true. All three are beliefs, an as long as you know that there is this thing/idea that there is something called "God" you have a belief concerning it.

  7. BIGGER congrats to BTGbullseye for the -130! WELL DONE LADS!

  8. linking your sig to wehatemacs.com (I used to edit/ manage the site when Dave was away or too busy)

Kinda figured since your youtube was filled with vids for there, and that's why I linked in my sig... ;):D

    Banned for not being toxic.

  9. I once tried an OS written entirely in assembly code. It fit on a diskette, was compatible with all video adapters in existence, and even had a web browser.

Oh, you mean an early version of Linux...

I'm a Windows user since the early 90's, and I think Linux is a great OS for people who aren't planning on gaming. (this same opinion I have heard from virtually every other Windows user I've come across)
