  1. Good thing you didn't buy anything... That's a small case! It doesn't even have expansion slots...

Maybe you can find a cheap case+power supply combo, ussualy Thermaltake and Antec offer good ones...

Yes, and actually getting a bare case (no PSU) and a separate PSU can be cheaper... (if you want to upgrade it to a good gaming system)

Looks like a decent CPU cooler though...

  2. an aqequate health care system, which is a lot better than the one in the US.

    -rep for that.

Russia or Norway. (I like cold weather, and I like the history of both. [especially the amount I would have had to live through])

I really don't consider it the USA that I was born in, so much as I was born in southeast South Dakota. (-40°F without windchill in the winter is not uncommon, and 110°F in the summer with 90-100% humidity is very common)

  3. Oh, don't worry. Just wait a few years. As developed societies implode, you'll get plenty plenty of opportunities for urban warfare.

I don't want to wait a few years, by then I might be running low on desire for anything but death...

For the urban warfare thing, get on a lot of drugs, and maybe you'll hallucinate people as zombies or something.

Why do I need drugs for that? All I have to do is walk down the street and try to talk to someone, all they respond in is some alien language. Someone once told me it was called "Spanish", so I ran... Figured they must've replaced the real him with one of their alien clone-bots...

  4. I love reading, at 9 my reading level was at 18.

I was similar, except I completely skipped the reading out loud stuff, and had college level reading at age 8. (it pays to have a 170+ IQ, and an English professor as the family's best friend)

I was reading stuff like Moorcock, Asimov, McCaffery, Heinland etc. Just love me some Fantasy and Sci-Fi.

+rep for reading the greats! (I'm on Heinlein's "The Number Of The Beast" right now)

  5. I preordered it, and had it completed within the week. (I was a full-time student as well)

Short, but extremely interesting, and very addicting. The multiplayer is a bit limited, but still quite fun.

I started having problems with equipping in the chest armor slot after a crash in the middle of a save, but I still beat the game without any chest armor. (it wasn't easy, let me tell you)

Graphics were almost identical to AC2, but the overall gameplay was a tad better. The additional weapons/armor and the free DLC stuff was very good. (as were the preorder bonuses)

I stopped playing after a few hours worth of multiplayer since it was just too easy to slaughter my enemies if they were less than level 8, and so incredibly hard to get a decent score versus level 10+ players. (I only got up to level 4)

  6. That's a possibilty, I was more thinking along the lines of-

    -I argue with you

    -You argue back

-We are told to stay on topic so we revive the Piracy thread

    -We make a few arguements

    -We run out of arguements

-Neither of us convinces the other piracy is good/bad

    -Piracy thread becomes dead

    -Nothing is resolved

    -Waste of time

Anyway back on topic, I wont be buying this game day 1 but it seems too awesome to pass by so I'll probably buy it when it gets a Steam discount (if they have one... they'd better have one D:<)

    You forgot:

-Short flame war started by neither of us

I plan on buying anything I torrent that doesn't completely suck, after I get enough money to do so. (this obviously doesn't completely suck, can see that from the previews)

  7. The CPU drops to 0% every once in a while (many onces in a while) and that makes games barely playable and other aplications really annoying to use, because the whole system stops for a second. I think it is a motherboard problem, that is quite common in this and other HP laptop models. But I don't wanna open up the laptop and void the warranty.

That part isn't HP. It's probly the processor overheating... Do you use a chilling pad for your laptop? (if not, that would be the first thing to try)

Excellent chilling pad: Thermaltake Massive23 LX Notebook Cooler

(I use one myself, drops temps by 20C at load)

  8. For all the doubters, check the developers' Steam Community accounts and see how long they've worked in the Source SDK this week.

Playing devil's advocate: They could just be starting up the SDK, minimize it, then go do other stuff for that entire time...

  9. Here's mine...

[EDIT] Damn, it won't keep it at it's 1366x768 size on Photobucket... If anyone wants the wallpaper, just ask and I'll put it on megaupload or something.

[EDIT2] Decided I didn't like the way the lighting looked on the original, so I added some effects...

I am very good at editing things, but I suck at making them from scratch.

  10. This statement is false.

    Show some evidence.

This statement is also false. A HUGE falsehood that can be easily disproved by using Google for 30 seconds.

Then why aren't you posting the links?

This statement is both nonsensical and false.

    See previous responses.

I suspect that you are merely repeating things that you have been told by creationists or read on creationist websites, since you have a history of quoting unqualified creationist sources.

Kind of like the rest of you supporting Evolution with unqualified Evolutionist sources?

But I tell you again, whoever is telling you these things is LYING to you, either deliberately or in an attempt to falsely justify their own beliefs.

    Prove it.
