Soundtrack for Ocean's 12...

Just had something exceedingly odd occur with my internet connection...
I was downloading the HL2 Cinematic Mod, when all the websites died. Couldn't get any site at all, but my torrents were still working... None of the trackers worked, but the peer-to-peer stuff was working perfectly... I suspected my wireless router to be the cause, since it has P2P and VPN passthrough functions... (it's a good router)
Reset the router, and everything works fine, but that made me scratch my head for a couple minutes... lol

Couldn't find a sizable "fan site", but I'd assume that's because big fans of the movie and books are just movie buffs, as well as likely not being a part of the internet generation, since the movie is from '67.
Anyway, I'm a huge fan of the movie and books, and it had never crossed my mind to go to a "fan site".
Even movie buffs use fan sites if they want more of the movies they like.
Starship Troopers just barely made it onto the poll... Everything else has multiple movies/episodes, but since it has a game I counted it.
I thought I had that in my requirements too... Has to have a sequel, or something else directly related to it... (game, sequel, prequel, etc.) 2001 doesn't as far as I've been able to find, and I don't see anything in the works either.
Oh, another thing, sci-fi fantasy is out as well...

How about that thing about some idiots wanting to make Pluto not a planet?
Where have you been?
Everywhere but IAU's sites...

Buried Alive - A7X
One of my top 50 favorite songs...
-
But not 2001? I mean, I did request it.
2001 doesn't have a large enough following... Look for a fan site, if you can find one that has more than 100 members, then I'll add it to the poll. (that's my criteria)

Try the Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy game. Text-based adventure FTW!
I think someone made an internet browser version of it with new graphics.
I didn't know white text on a blue background could have new GFX...

Yeah. I wonder why people in general didn't like the series, I thought the episodes were well constructed and well acted.
Because it didn't fit with the established Star Trek timeline, and when the fans of the classic shows offered an olive branch by saying it took place in a parallel universe, thy were told it wasn't an alternate. It pissed of the real fans into boycotting the show for it's entire air time, which caused it to be canceled. (if the fans don't watch, who will?)
The new movie however is awesome, and is a perfect way to resurrect the Star Trek franchise. (alternate timeline, no planet Vulcan)
Ok, I'm adding The Twilight Zone, and Starship Troopers to the poll...

Welcome.

Yeah, they're idiots when it comes to stuff like that... Fortunately they still do the Twilight Zone and Star Trek TOS marathons...

Other, AKA "None at all". I can't stand anime.

A lapdance by a guy? I'll pass.

My snack: Tortilla, semi-thin layer of pizza sauce, thick layer of shredded Italian 5-cheese Blend, put in oven at 400f for about 5 min, turn oven off, pull out of oven when the cheese is just lightly browning on the top... Mmmmmm...

I've never owned any iPod myself. I have a Creative Stone. Transferring music to it is basically a drag'n'drop procedure, like it should be.
I use Coby stuff personally... Same style.
My nephew keeps getting iPods from his Dad, so I know a little about them.

Having it locked like that by default delivers a strong message though.
Yeah... That being: "We hate free thinkers, so give us all your money!"

I could join them as long as you play some Prodigy. I can't dance to hiphop.
I can only dance well to funky music, and a little bit to slow music...
-
I need Itunes for my Ipod, otherwise I'd not be able to listening on it any music.
I just told you, no you don't. There is a settings option that turns off the iPod's security, and you can use anything you want, or even use the iPod as a jumpdrive... Takes 15 sec to do.

What, no poll?
Honestly, the Glock... I have a mouse macro that lest me fire it about as fast as the Pulse Rifle.
I did however make a mod of the Pulse Rifle that got rid of most of that excess recoil, improved accuracy slightly, and increased ammo... That was my favorite weapon when modded.

Im playing Black&White2. Dammit, I couldn't find my CD with B&W1, the sequel is dumb as hell...
Torrent it... It's not illegal in any way if you already own the game.

Felt cloth works great for sound dampening, and is very inexpensive. Heck, sound dampening cloth is basically a combination of felt and paper fibers...
If you want to get really solid anti-echo in addition, get some thin foam-rubber to put behind the felt.

Can we get back on topic, please? This topic is the discussion of the human race's place in history.
Well considering that we're the only race on this planet that records history, when we're gone, there goes our place in history. (especially if the planet gets destroyed before aliens get here)

I have Itunes because my Dad bought me an iPod a few years ago...
So upgrade to ANYTHING else... iPods don't require iTunes.
