Torrent it... It's not illegal in any way if you already own the game.

Felt cloth works great for sound dampening, and is very inexpensive. Heck, sound dampening cloth is basically a combination of felt and paper fibers... If you want to get really solid anti-echo in addition, get some thin foam-rubber to put behind the felt.

Well considering that we're the only race on this planet that records history, when we're gone, there goes our place in history. (especially if the planet gets destroyed before aliens get here)

So upgrade to ANYTHING else... iPods don't require iTunes.

Depends on your definition of "planet"... My definition is, if it has a diameter of over 500mi, has a definite solar orbit, (not planetary/lunar) is not in an obvious 'belt' of some kind, and is within 5 billion miles of the sun at Aphelion, then it is a planet. The IAU definition is different however... IAU's definition of "planet"

Bad edit on HIS part, not mine... lol

Let's bring out the beer and snacks and the dancing girls in cages. No room for the cages, but the girls sound good...

Most of us non-Mayan-calender-nuts would like a few of those contracts as well...

Evolution vs. Creation being taught in schools
BTGBullseye replied to BTGBullseye's topic in Serious Topic Discussion
Not in mine, but in the words of the teachers in 99.9% of the public schools in America. Try to understand, it's not about the theory itself, it's about what is taught in the schools, and when it's taught to the children. And how often do they actually use those? I personally know of the methods, but have yet to see anyone use them for fossil dating. Are you trying to miss the meaning of what I post? -
What's your favourite gun in HL1?

Thanks, and it looks good now. -
You do all realize that each Cuda Core in GeForce cards is equivalent to 4 Stream Processors in the Radeons right? That means that the GTX480's 480 Cuda Cores is equivalent to 1920 Stream Processors. However the GTX5XX series has better performance in the Cudas, and makes it perform at almost 5x...

Ok, so I might torrent it...

Wait, there's and HD pack for HL1?!? Where? I want!

Evolution vs. Creation being taught in schools
BTGBullseye replied to BTGBullseye's topic in Serious Topic Discussion
What? And what other methods are those? The rock surrounding the fossils is dated by the fossils in said rock, so you can't use that one... If you take the biblical flood as a literal story... But for most people in the past: world = everything they knew. (usually that meant about as far as they could see from the top of the nearest Date tree) -
If it's not being supported and it's over 7 years old, it's likely abandonware. Abandonware Definition

Evolution vs. Creation being taught in schools
BTGBullseye replied to BTGBullseye's topic in Serious Topic Discussion
So every generation is a different species? If not, then how does this prove evolution? Where/when/how was it debunked? There have been several independent studies broadcast on the Discovery and History channels, and there was something in Popular Science about the inaccuracies of C14 dating. (not inaccurate by a few days or even months, but by a varying percentage as high as 99% inaccurate) http://www.nationalgeographic.com/blacksea/ -

Saying there is evidence doesn't show me any evidence. Post #1 in this thread. -

You better allow revoting, since when you changed the votes mine ended up stuck on the Gluon Gun. Oh, and it's Tau Cannon, not gun... -

Show me your evidence, and show me how the evidence I provided doesn't exist. -
Never been compared to him before... lol Thanks. The Mustache is actually fairly thick and long, but nearly invisible close to the roots... Hard to see it in pictures.

How about that thing about some idiots wanting to make Pluto not a planet?

You shat while dreaming? I had a nice dream last night... I was in charge of a revolution of sorts, and started building an immense underground tunnel network. We had just built a couple dozen small groups of rooms for housing the few thousand of us that were active fighters, but we were in the process of designing a massive underground complex that would house a couple million people. The designs were very complex, I doubt if I could duplicate them in under a year, but the tech exists, and could work today. (yes I checked on it immediately after waking up, yes I know I'm a nerd) I then jumped ahead to walking through the place, and everything was different from the designs, including a couple of waterfalls that fell up instead of down, and some loops in the walkways that would require the ability to manipulate gravity to walk down... (in the dream I could affect gravity in that way apparently)

And now it's on my Christmas list. Only costs about $15000 on the black market, and will kill you if you aren't careful...

I still have yet to see any transitioning fossils from anything, to anything else... I've looked quite hard to find a decent one, but they are all faked from what I've seen. -
I'm depressed most of the time. As I said in another thread, I'm just too depressed to bother with suicide... It's too depressing. You know what picks me up? Being able to sit and do nothing for 3 days, without consequences. Works without fail.
