I shall now enlighten the people of these boards with this strange but awesome song:
I love that...
-
IMO the $90 was well worth it. I can't see how I ever did any gaming without it...
Oh BTW, it auto-adjust the sensitivity of the mouse sensor for different games...
-
And...you have sufficient enough proof of this to warrant teaching it to our impressionable children?
I said repeatedly that I believe neither should be taught in anything but a religion class.
It is extremely unlikely; that's why it took billions of years. Unlikely things always happen, given enough time.So that means that before I die I will become God?
Do you have a cite for this claim? i.e. Do you have any theories based off intelligent design that has been scrutinized for decades by the most fastidious scientist and survived?I didn't think any Evolutionist had ever tried to disprove their own belief... Why should Creationists?
-
I believe I mentioned something similar earlier as being my preference too... We could co-rule and keep each other in check.
That's not even tyranny; that's anarchy.
It's never anarchy if someone is in charge. You need to look up the definition of anarchy.

that thing must have cost a lot.
$780 for the laptop (back to school sale)
$90 for the mouse
$40 each for the external drives
$20 for the USB hub
$20 for the laptop cooler
Total: $1010

Which fan type are you?
I'm a born and raised Trekkie...
Also, Firefly was essentially becoming the successor to Star Trek, and I didn't miss a single episode of it's original airing...
A couple Trek facts:
James Doohan (Scotty) got peppered with MG42 bullets on Omaha Beach, and lost his right ring finger to one of them.
Gene Roddenberry was a B-17 pilot... His uniform is on display at the Pueblo Aerospace Museum.

They have a design for a nearly self-sustaining lunar base... They designed some of it off of the Heinlein books, and most of the rest off of stuff in Ben Bova's books... They just need new shuttles to get the parts and supplies up there.
-
I don't seek it. It comes naturally.
We have so much in common...
-
It wasn't that big... Under 300px tall is a good size IMO. (I just haven't used any GFX in my sigs for a while, or I'd have something cool in mine)
-
A strange fact about me is that I was born on my mothers birthday (true story to).
You got your Mom's b-day, I got born on Mother's Day... lol
-
Oh and BTG... + 48 rep, just for the fun
All it takes is one actual troll post, and my rep is fixed...
Metallica - Holier Than Thou

All you'd see in a picture of mine is a bunch of wires leading to a USB hub, an external HDD, external DVD burner, and a laptop sitting on it's cooler...
Better would be posting the details of the computers and their peripherals... For example:
Dell 1558 Laptop
Intel i5-450m processor
6GB 1333 DDR3 RAM at 7-7-7-20 timing
500GB Seagate Momentus 7200RPM
1TB ESATAII HDD (Hitachi Deskstar HDD in enclosure)
Radeon Mobility 5470 with 2GB dedicated GDDR5 RAM
1366x768x60 max monitor settings
Logitech G700 Gaming Mouse
Rosewill external keypad
ASUS external DVD burner
Much more informative of the capabilities of the system, don't you think?

If you're worried you won't like the game, watch some gameplay videos on Youtube or download an official demo if one is available.
A lot of decent games look like crap gameplay in those videos, but are extremely fun when played. Most of the rest look like it's the best game ever, but when actually played, sucks...
Demos on the other hand have been known to run on entirely separate game engines, and in some rare cases, not have anything in the demo that is in the game apart from textures and credits.
Now if every demo was like the Quake 2 demo, where it was 3 levels straight out of the game, without any changes to the map/enemies/gameplay/etc, (additional weapons were placed) then I would agree with you on that point.

I guess I'll have to give it a try to really find out for sure if I can stand it...
And yes, GoW1 had the second-person when aiming...
-
Just torrented NFS Carbon... Why did they remove widescreen support from it? (excellent gameplay though IMO)
-
Star Craft
As soon as they make a movie of it... Until then, just SW v ST.
-
you have to buy the Zerg and Protoss Campaigns separate.
Yeah, but each campaign is an entire game unto itself... Kinda like all the Blizzard expansions...
-
Try switching them to PNGs first... Sometimes helps...
What program are you using to make/edit them? (I can get max quality 100x100 jpegs down to below 30KB)

There is no single day upon which the epicness that is known as the GODBEARD was created.
You just got yourself +rep...
You ever notice that God looks sorta like Charlton Heston?
-
I hate people, but I hate conflict more.
I don't see any conflict in him using me as an "ugly" example... Kinda funny IMO...
-
I never played any Halo
You need to. Get a torrent of it and say you borrowed it from me...
Or you could get the demo then keygen it.
That's pretty much how I get every computer game.
WINGS OF LIBERTY FTW.
Didn't know Halo 1 upgraded like that.
SC2 is awesome isn't it?
-
Ok, now I have to make a Star Wars vs Star Trek thread...
-
I hate that 16kb's is the cap. I have like 100,000 avatars that are 100x100, but they're all like 50kbs.
Same... Try reformatting them to 256 color gifs, and see if any of them look good...

I want to witness the complete and utter demise of the human race.
Ooooo... That'd be cool... That's my new life goal.

I remember back when I was 4, I wanted to sit by my sliding glass patio doors and watch the class 5 tornado go by...
Passed within 2 miles of my house, and all we got was 10 min of light hail...
