  1. I got the wrath of khan instead of the new star wars movie for my last birthday... Just about commited hari kiri.

WTF?!? WoK is easily the best movie ever! (the new ST takes a close second)

I have the DVD of the new one, I can torrent you a copy if you want... (private torrent between just you and me)

  2. In fact, it immediately becomes obvious that the "spontaneous" existence of GOD (which is supposed by the believers to be of an infinitely higher and more complex order than any life form) must, using the same "theory" of statistical analysis, be FAR MORE improbable than evolution. If your argument is true, your "designer" can't exist.

You all keep falling back on God... It isn't possible that some alien species seeded us here?

  3. How does one.... become.... a food nerd?

Couldn't tell ya, it just happens.

It's a form of OCD... We just like perfect foods and meals... (I have the same peculiarity)

I usually munch Cooler Ranch Doritos or ACTII Butter Lovers popcorn when watching movies, and nothing when gaming.

Drink, always some form of Mt. Dew... Preferably Livewire, or Distortion when it was out...

  4. No flame? I am surprise.

I'd like to talk about how the hell BTG got 63 negative reps. That is a feat worth mentioning.

Maybe he is just massively unpopular. That's how it seems to be for me at least.

Popular, not unpopular... I ask repeatedly for -rep, and everyone obliges me...

If they want to express their displeasure with me, they just need to find a way to keep me at 0 rep. +rep or -rep I'm making a splash...

  5. Name: Alex

    Location: London, UK, British Empire

    Occupation: Student

My name is Alexander, although I'm known as Alex most of the time, and when I'm not cycling to lectures/labs and catching up on sleep, I've been coding the odd feature needed and battling the bugs that infest the Source engine that Ross Scott needs squishing.

Other than that, I enjoy playing around with Source's Hammer, my trumpet, acting, consuming inhuman amounts of chocolate, composing/arranging orchestral music and cycling in cities.

You really need to shrink your sig... Bigger isn't better in this instance.

  6. third person shooter

I can't stand TPS... I had GoW for a little, didn't even get past making a mini-trainer for it... (level 2 when I finished the trainer)

If I can find a mod or code or something that makes it FPS, then I'll probly try it.

  7. SMOD

CSS Sci-Fi Mod v2.1 (better version of SMOD based off of the same, but is far easier to customize every setting incuding making new custom weapons)

Insurgency (before it switched from a sourcemod to essentially it's own game)

Eternal Silence (best sourcemod ever IMO)

    NeoTokyo (second best mod IMO)

I've made several of my own, but they were all private only, and I have yet to retrieve them from my many old ATA HDDs...

[EDIT] NeoTokyo didn't get in there for some reason... It was the first one I typed, must've accidentally hit Scroll Lock...

  8. Some radioactive waste will remain hazardous to humans and other creatures for hundreds of thousands of years.

    Where is this waste located?

The only locations that I know of that have that much waste is a secure storage facility that is designed to permanently store those wastes safely...

How much you want to bet that someone is gonna start launching some of that crap into the sun within the next century?

  9. So you're going to filter all the bad things about the former centuries of our history and likewise all the good progress recent decades have brought? Okay.

    ^^^

Good things in the last century:

    Flight

    Nuclear power

    Clean coal

    Automobiles

    Satellites

    Internet

    Computers

    Rock and roll

    Movies

    Mobile/cellular phones

    Digital imaging

    Portable computers

    Television

    Digital clocks

Piezoelectric systems (commonly found in analog watches, and most high-end hard drives)

    Solar cells, and wind turbines

I can do more, but my mind just went blank...
