Since the IAU seems to not want to use a logically based definition for what is and isn't a planet, I'd like to propose something that can actually be applied to any solar system, (or even rogue planets, not in orbit around a star) not just our own.

Here's what I have so far.

Stellar Object: Star, Black Hole, Binary/Trinary/Qauternary Star, etc.

Primary planetary orbit: Stable orbit around central Stellar Object.

Secondary planetary orbit: Eccentric orbit around central Stellar Object.

Planet: Gravity meeting or exceeding 1.00m/s, exceeding 1000km diameter, sphereoid or oblate sphereoid with less than 10% average deviation. Not a Stellar Object.

Dwarf Planet: Gravity between 0.01m/s and 1.00m/s, exceeding 1000km diameter, sphereoid or oblate sphereoid with less than 10% average deviation. Not a Stellar Object.

Moon: Any object exceeding 0.01m/s gravity in stable orbit around a Planet or Dwarf Planet. Not a Stellar Object. Can still be a Planet or Dwarf Planet.

Binary/Trinary/Quaternary/Etc. Planet: Any Planet or Dwarf Planet with a Moon that causes the system to have a center of mass (barycenter) above the surface any of the Planets/Dwarf Planets.

I'm personally a fan of LMDE... Stable, but stays up to date at the same time. Supports anything that would work in Debian, plus it has a more Windows-like UI. I use it on 2 of my personal systems.

Well, he was the opposite of "observant" during his entire "I should be more observant" rant, so it just kinda frustrated me. I understand it, but it still doesn't stop the frustration.

Yup. It's a good stepping stone to my goal of an RTX 2080ti... Only costs $240 right now for a decent new one. Could get a 64 for $300, but I definitely don't want the blower style. (too noisy)

FYI, the reason the sticks are shown as 2133 is because that's exactly what they are... That 3000 is what they are rated to overclock to, but they are natively a 2133 stick. (my 3200 sticks are native 2133 as well)

Your system isn't that far off from mine for performance, apart from you having a dedicated GPU already. (I'm having to save up for a Vega 56 for mine)

The newer Asrock stuff seems to be of remarkably good quality. Asrock used to be just the shitty versions of the ASUS boards, now they're beating out much of the ASUS stuff, and at a lower price.

Yup, that's it. There's some surprisingly good stuff in the CODEX installers. That second one is pretty cool too.

Yup. I used my 500GB laptop drives for storage all the time... Surprisingly useful.

FYI, mini ITX is usually about triple the price for a motherboard than any other form factor. Micro ATX is usually the cheapest, and is the next smallest. I'd suggest a thin case for a Micro ATX board personally. (they're usually not very expensive, and not that much bigger than mini ITX)

[EDIT] Or not, because the shipping method the seller used sucks. (they've had it in my town for 2 days, but haven't delivered it yet, and it was due today)
