It really didn't have anything seriously different, (mostly just additional language packs and a bit more "ultimate power user" access) but for some reason that nobody but Microsoft really knows for sure, it had none of the resource hogging of the other versions.

Vista was great if you had at least 4GB of RAM, or was the "Ultimate" version. Anything else, and it had issues.

Actually, all torrents lose seeders over time, and so the specific torrent can be easily lost after a few years. If you have a physical copy, it doesn't need to be torrented again. There are reasons besides "it's a collectible" to get a physical copy of something.
