  1. I'm really not surprised. If there's one consistent thing I've heard from most game designers and industry people is that the game industry is incredibly tiring, so much so that a lot of people burn out and quit after only several years. Microsoft basically offered Notch what a lot of the industry would consider an early retirement. Whether that's the case with him I can't say but I like to see this as freeing him up so he can work on new projects should he desire. As for where Minecraft is headed, I still can't say. I've recently tried out the new update and I do like a lot of what they added. Besides, if the game ever gets pushed into a bad state you can always find older version of the game on modding platforms. I know you can still find versions of the game on ATLauncher from years back. I don't know if it's all of them though.
  2. Thief. I cranked up the custom difficulty to be no killing, harming or being seen by anything. So much more fun like this.
  3. Never in my life have I heard a smell that tasted so bright.
  4. Waiting to go home. I'm so tired, I think I'll just crash the second I get there.
  5. Eating breakfast while waiting for the Bathroom Thief to finally get out of there so I can shower.
  6. The old Thief series has been a long time favorite so $7.50 is a steal for me. I'd have been perfectly willing to part with more but luckily I didn't have to, which means I can still eat lunch this week.
  7. Contrary to popular belief, "Let me google that for you" is not a very helpful link for forum topics. Not to mention the results of what you posted didn't even remotely come up with anything helpful, or really related to what he was asking. As for where you can find the toy, I'm not sure where you would look for something that specific but you could always try Amazon or ebay. If toy companies aren't selling what you're looking for through them, then at least you may be able to find a private collector or something, though they do tend to sell at inflated prices, assuming it's not up for bid instead. Not a lot of toys are made with wood and metal anymore so I can't imagine a lot of non-private sellers will have any. Are you looking for one for like a re-enactment or just good old fashion play? Just out of curiosity.
  8. It's rude to talk with shit in your mouth. You're spitting it everywhere.
  9. Isn't this like Random Thread The Game?
  10. Jester
  11. C:\Program Files\Java\jre7
  12. Thief and Saints Row IV. 2 games that I've been looking forward to playing for a while and they both just went on sale for $7.50. Now the lengthy process of downloading them. Sigh... Well, not like I'm gonna be playing much until graduation anyways. Given my internet they SHOULD finish by the time I do lol.
  13. I was honestly hoping to see some sort of reaction to him stepping into the healing pool but I guess not. Maybe in a later episode? I know you encounter those a bit in Xen but he has tended to overlook some things for the sake of story flow.
  14. I can see the resemblance but I think it's more due to the fact that modelling a tunnel in that fashion is the easiest way to do it. If I had to guess I'd say they started off with a tube primitive, cut it in half, pulled the cut part down and gave it a floor. For the general shape at least. For example: Threw together in like 10 minutes. As for the texture, at least in the case of The Tunnel, it may have simply been a public use texture for dirt. cgtextures.com is free public use on the condition that the texture is used on a 3D model. That and dirt does look like dirt so that may also be why it's so similar.
  15. I'm listing "Only certain types" even though it's between that and "hell yeah." There are some I don't like, mostly the cheap kinds and that sorry excuse for a "cheese" American cheese which is closer to plastic than it is an actual cheese. My fridge currently has some smoked cheddar in it, a small cube of Dubliner, a wedge of Gruyere, and a wedge of Gouda.
  16. Well, I WAS gonna start the polishing/finishing part of my level in cryengine. Have to wait for the patch to finish. -.- Pros of Steam-based game engines: -latest version on release -subscription can be canceled any time -cheaper monthly than most pay MMO's Cons: -HAVE to do the update. So now I'm listening to music and will probably continue to do so for the next 3 hours it takes to finish this download. :S
  17. Wolf
  18. The Thumbs of Justice hold no bias.
  19. I'm making a new game called "Entitlement Simulator 2015: Youtube the Video Game." I'll release it when enough people think I owe it to them.
  20. Borderlands Pre-Sequel. Athena now level 50. Elemental Athena with an electric beam Maliwan laser is ungodly powerful.
  21. Shame really. I hope the people who do like to dress like that don't get harassed for it.
  22. I actually really like the gothic and victorian style clothing. Like, a lot. But I guess I can't tell anyone that outside of this forum because every time I do people think it's because it's some kind of kink for me or whatever. I just like how interesting it looks. :S
  23. Maleficent. 9/10 I didn't know what to expect when going into this but was pleasantly surprised by what I got. It really reminded me of Wicked and I love that story to death.
  24. I set my spotify to radio on Simon & Garfunkel and was about to post the song it was on. What are the odds it was this. What are the odds....
  25. Survival food. aka chicken pot pie. I would be eating leftover Thanksgiving food but we went to a relatives house so any leftovers were left over there *gigglesnort*
