Holy shit, From Software. Your game's been out for over a month in the US and over 2 in japan and your servers still fail more than they work. How many times do I have to keep seeing this every hour before you get the idea that YOUR SERVERS ARE STILL FUCKED?! I've put down my summon sign 4 times and all 4 times the summon has failed. What I get for trying to be nice and helpful I guess. Invasions work fine after all...

Edit: Yet another 40mb patch. Still no patch notes. That makes like 7 and still nothing has changed.

Nah I'm not offended. These are just people trying to pull the special snowflake card by creating special identities for themselves. It's frankly a bit insulting when people try to use this to make themselves unique and identifiable. Actual dysphoria is not fun. :/

@Vappy: Well I mean, there's some genders that I get - Transgenders, genderfluid? But I mean, I think anything more than that is just going weird... XD You can't identify yourself as a plant. That's a disorder. X3 Some people just need to see a psychologist. XD Others are okay.

 

But really, the whole thing is ridiculous. Does nobody in the non-binary community look at this and laugh? Let me give you a few examples:

"Glimragender: A gender that feels like it’s faintly shining or wavering."

Tumblr is literally trying to start their own language based on 'gender' but really it's beginning to have nothing to do with genders at all. They have lost the meaning of gender. X3 This is ridiculous. And thing is, all these terms are new - like, they say they've been made in the year 2014, or 2015. Which is even more disturbing cause that means it's just probably 16 year old 'special snowflakes' sitting at their computer with nothing better to do - they probably read some teenage personality quiz on; "Who are you?" went through a weird as fuck phase where they questioned EVERYTHING about themselves, got WAY too into it, then started their own gender cause they felt they weren't noticed enough. These people are gonna turn 22 and be like; "What the fuck was I thinking?" But knowing them, it might take a little longer than that actually. Tumblr is a digital cancer. >:I And not even in just weird as gender stuff. Tumblr picks the littlest shit, and argues over it, like that one teacher you had in high-school that would tell you off for walking too quickly down the hallway or some shit. I usually don't like to generalize, but I've seen some shit, man. XD I'm done with Tumblr. I'm outtie. No thanks.

 

@MrKitty: That'd be a sexuality though, not a gender. XP Supercalifragilisticexpialidociousgender would be something like... being identified as everything. But specifically 'everything'. You can't just say; "So you're a female?" Nah, you gotta be called EVERYTHING. The almighty everything.

I'm non-binary and this is going too far. I'm not sure these people even know what a gender identity even is...

For a game in closed Beta, this has surprisingly the least amount of balance issues I've seen in a game.

It's instant though. I can be so silent the mic won't even show any sound being transmitted and they won't hear it but the second I switch the mute button they can make out words clearly. Switching it back immediately cuts off the audio playing over it. This goes for mute on both skype and the headsets switch.

Annoyed.

So, my mic likes to transmit any computer audio over skype/discord/teamspeak/whatever whenever I mute the mic but stops doing that when I unmute it. Looking into it the only fix people where able to find was to plug it into the back of the computer instead of the front.

Why it even works that way I have no god damn idea but I'd much rather just hold off on watching videos while in voice chat than wrestle with cables every time. UGH.

I have more hair than the iron content of our core though. :/

Apparently a lot of people are mad/disappointed/upset by this one. I mean yeah it kinda modernized the series and streamlined it doing away with some of the more hardcore features of the original but, like, it has specialized difficulty modifiers, you can easily make the game more hardcore yourself if you wanted. the game is trying to reach a wider audience which I still don't understand how that's a bad thing. (they didn't really sacrifice anything that changed the experience.)

I had a lot of fun with it and enjoy it, despite all the people going on about how it "betrayed" the originals. Felt the same to me. :/
