  1. From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

This article is about the legendary creature. For other uses, see Dragon (disambiguation).

A dragon is a legendary creature, typically with serpentine or otherwise reptilian traits, that feature in the myths of many cultures.

There are two distinct cultural traditions of dragons: the European dragon, derived from European folk traditions and ultimately related to Greek and Middle Eastern mythologies, and the Chinese dragon, with counterparts in Japan, Korea and other East Asian countries. The two traditions may have evolved separately, but have influenced each to a certain extent, particularly with the cross-cultural contact of recent centuries. The English word "dragon" derives from Greek δράκων (drákōn), "dragon, serpent of huge size, water-snake", which probably comes from the verb δρακεῖν (drakeîn) "to see clearly".[1]

This is directed to blue, Wikipedia may not be the most reliable source but blue (and Lauren Faust) got quite a few things about dragons wrong.

dragons being mythical, non existent creatures makes it rather hard to "get quite a few things about dragons wrong." Sure there are traditional dragons which these differ from but it happens all the time. hell, zombies never even used to be undead corpses walking the earth and vampires are always changing.

  2. See, THIS is the compromise I've been trying to achieve for the past 20 something pages. :x
Well, I've been engineering a few new designs to help us in the war.

This was posted on page 46, meaning you have been trying to reason with them for less than 16 pages...

I posted my attempt to end the war exactly 20 pages ago... but I just gave up and became a brony, saying "Screw this war" in the process.

Edit: STOP POSTING BEFORE ME!!! -.-

    techni-motherfucking-calities.

  3. Sounds rational, but what if the person posted a MLP image, then continued to discuss the topic, but everyone else discussed MLP? Would the original poster be in trouble, or everyone who caused the derail?

Everyone who caused the derail. they're the one's breaking the rule. if the MLP image is relevant to the original thread, then no rules were broken on the posters part.

  4. I'll post them as an occasional response image, if you have some insane problem with that then you're being the problem, not me. I fail to see any real difference between that and using other images to respond with. I'm sick of people complaining about them being used everywhere even though they aren't. I'm sick of people complaining about their use at all when their use makes sense. And I'm especially sick of people calling the show bad or stupid or cliche or "un-manly" when they haven't even bothered to watch it. Either man up and watch the first three episodes or quit crying about it.

    need I say more?

"my terms or no terms" I've never seen that work anywhere else and it's definitely not gonna work here.
