well for open maps I usually just go soldier since there's ALWAYS some guy with the upgraded engi.

Demo + Medic is the ultimate Engie counter, IMO.

well, yes, but I have better aim with soldier and I'm not blessed with skilled/intelligent medics very often. some guy went kritzkrieg when I told him I was going to go soldier to take out the turrets...

the only thing that remains is the weapons feel "right" when you shoot them.

 

"Remains"? Please do not tell me you think the wet farts the shotguns in FEAR 2 make sound good to you. FEAR's sounds are not perfect either but they are infinity and a half better than FEAR 2's. I reserve judgement on FEAR 3's sounds until I buy and play the game, which may happen soon considering this game is essentially the game equivalent of a straight-to-DVD film.

You'll notice I say ""feel" not "sound". The sounds have always been indifferent to me in most shooters I play. It's the recoil, accuracy, weapon fire rate, etc that I judge by and I just like how that feels in this series.

wow. in an attempt to fix my sleep schedule, i've screwed it up to a new bad. this'll be extra fun to fix.

That annoying person was probably me with the open mic. XD

Backstab madness on that one payload map. XD in defense alone I got something like 20 backstabs before having to go pyro to keep them off the cart.

nothing like the sobering realization that my shitty internet is gonna interfere with something I've been planning for over a week. now I have to wait for a spot to open......

think I'll take a short nap before the TF2 match. Gonna set my alarm clock knowing my sleep pattern.

If I'm on the pushing team on PL I'm that Pyro crouching on top of the cart flaming everyone to check for Spies. I know how they work.

And anywho, I just got in a few warm up matches in another server. if I do as well today as I did there, nothing will stop us. O_o on defense in Payload, score was 125, second place was 102, third place was 40. XD I got called a mega hacker by the bottom of the list.

We have enough people to pull it off, even though that still is a bummer. 2 people I was looking forward to playing with aren't showing up. T_T

Payload is the best game type for that style of play.

I've noticed that. CTF is the worst mode I've done it in as you get spy checked like crazy by the entire paranoid team and CP everyone is so busy spinning in circles you can't get close enough to backstab without looking horribly suspicious. PL is like, if you can come up behind them, you're almost guarantied to get some kills.
