Yeah steam isn't the greatest. I'm mostly okay with the minor inconveniences as they've never done much beyond block the occasional click in the screen corner but yesterday trying to trade a card over to Alyxx was an adventure. I kinda understand why they do it that way but right now it's basically "we're gonna confuse you, then punish you for getting confused"

Basically if you aren't synced in to a mobile device every trade (at least for cards it seems) get's locked on hold for 24 hours. If you cancel an on hold trade then it seems like you have to wait 7 days to try again. I know they're trying to limit scam accounts' ability to move inventory between accounts(and allow people who feel they got scammed to get back their stuff) but I imagine this scenario where someone get's the trade on hold, thinks they did something wrong, cancels to try again, and get's stuck for a week.

My problems with TF2 now are that it's just so oversaturated with weapons that half the time I don't even know what I'm looking at anymore. Public servers seem to be the only ones active which is basically about as balanced as a tank weighted against a cricket on a teeter totter.

And then there's the outdated memes. I'm pretty sure tf2 is the only place left on the internet where you still see Lenny Face spammed every half hour.

Signs and bad habits of an over-analytical brain sounds like. I think everyone experiences that with different things to some degree. The fact that you can identify that it's happening is a good sign cuz should you chose, you're in the position to change how you act upon those reactions.

This has more than a little to do with someone who insults huge swaths of the population (e.g. anyone who isn't an Atheist, anyone who doesn't share his opinion on certain companies, anyone who works in law enforcement, anyone who votes for Hillary over Bernie- which in practice means most black/Latino Americans, etc.) in vulgar and hyperbolic ways in literally every thread he posts in. Often before shifting to a specific person. It's frankly very old at this point.

Rules aren't enforced on a basis of who who started it or who did it worse. Any violations on another users part will be dealt with accordingly, and I strongly recommend ignoring them to avoid any risk. Especially since this forum has an ignore button.

And I can promise you the only difference between ignoring and confronting is that confronting leaves everyone significantly more upset than before.
