Unfortunately(?) alcohol has in the past caused insomnia where it wasn't before. idk what it is about it but when alcohol is in my system my brain will not shut off and I can't fall asleep.

So the weather has turned from hot to cold and rainy in the span of a single night which has given me barometer head like I've never had before. On top of that, the cold air has my carpel tunnel in both wrists full blast. Both my elbows are starting to pop and ache, I'm once again dead in the center of a severe bout of insomnia and the audio hallucinations have been going for an hour now and this has all left me pretty miserable.

I'm currently a warm-blooded pile of first-world problems and no one can stop me from complaining about it.

Currently feeling: Awestruck, a tad speechless, and severely disappointed with basically all of you at the turn of event's right here.

C'mon, guys. I once said that we're better than this and I would love to keep thinking that...

Maybe because 99.9%+ of people that say that, don't really mean it in the slightest... Ever considered that?

Now, now, let's not get confrontational over this.

OT: frustrated. I want to get started on a saving and loading setup for my game but I can't for the life of me get my brain to work properly.

When I said "480p" I was using that as a stand in for "my internet scales netflix down to 'suck' so it can stream without pausing" but I guess I shoulda just said 144p to make that more clear.

Because terminology aside, DVD's look beautiful compared to netflix after my internet gets through with it and that's the only point I'm trying to convey.

Dark Souls 2

I feel this is the polar opposite of Dark Souls, where DS is hard but fair, DS2 is easy but unfair. It's not hard, I'm breezing through it really fast, but holy shit it LOOOOVES dropping anvils on players. If this game reduced about 75% of it's bullshit it'd still have a lot of bullshit.

Trust me. DVD's on my TV don't have as many visible pixels from the quality drops that Netflix does when my internet is being itself. I have tested this. Quite extensively.

Wrapping up my programming. Reworked an entire system I had in place. Wasn't simple to rework but it's cleaner and easier to work with for any future additions. Less self-confusion with my own code lol.

I mean, with my internet connection video rentals would be nice.

Netflix in 480p is uh... not good.

Winding down after Dark Souls. I sure would love to get into the pvp but I'm getting really turned off by the fact that a slow ass 2 hander can stun lock me with poise over 100.

Not to mention all the spear spammers, divine blessing addicts, and people still rocking Giant Dad builds as if it's still cool.

I... I think I'll just wait for Dark Souls 3.
