Bloodborne again.

Least favorite part of the game cleared (Rom, and the Yahar'gul 3 hunters-at-once-bullshit fight) now taking a break to let my temper sooth over. i love that game but those 2 parts must have been designed by the same intern because god they piss me off with how little forethought went into them.

Trying to beat Rom the Vacuous Spider in Bloodborne is the worst part of every playthrough, hands down. This wouldn't be so hard if he wasn't one of the worst designed bosses I've seen in recent years. For a game as unforgiving as this, designing a 3 phase boss where literally every attack is a rogue element that skill only partially helps avoid was a poor, poor decision. Especially since it's a required boss. Seriously. There's no dodge direction that doesn't have at least a 1 in 4 chance of taking damage anyway from the ranged arcane attack that even with 400+ arcane resistance is still 50-100% of your health in damage. Then there's the little spiders. every phase has like 10 of them and you do 75% less damage when attacking them from the front, and these spiders can ALSO kill you in a single attack run. And it's not sensible to fight them because you give Rom more time and chances to ruin everything with his piece of shit arcane attack which does the stated 50-100% of health in damage.

What a stupid fight. If they removed this boss completely and put something else in it's place I would be 110% behind that decision and I hate when companies remove content outright. That's how much I despise this horribly designed fight.

And of course you get the people that got the golden layout on their first run going on to forums like "Oh I beat him my first time you just suck" which are as welcomed as this boss is. People who make it to a layer 5 dungeon do not suck because layer 3 dungeons eat bad players for breakfast. This fight is just that unpredictable and poor. Don't go acting like you're hot shit because you got lucky enough to not encounter his bullshit. In fact, the first time i played the game I DESTROYED Rom the first time. Now I have to do like 7-8 attempts no matter how well prepared I am for the fight because it just shits on me with unavoidable situations.

Bloodborne.

Kinda funny that you can unlock the Hunter's Nightmare area so early when everything there is killing me in a single hit because of how far they out level me. Even my damage against them is half because of the difference.

Edit: Well, persevering payed off in buckets. Got one of the new weapons, the full Old Hunter set, and 2 level 5 gems which finding a level 2 gem right now is a good find. Don't get me wrong, every enemy encountered was like a miniboss so I feel i earned this lol.

Playing a new character in Bloodborne. If I'm gonna play this DLC I want everything to be fresh. And this time I'm not missing anything in the first playthrough. Not losing that blood rock due to ignorance THIS time.

Edit: Father Gas Can isn't a hard boss but fuck him and his tendency to punch you into an objects collider in such a way that you get stuck.

Black Ops 3. I decided it was a good time to stop playing after I had 1 game that must have been sent to me from the gods as reward for my patience with all the crap that game gives me.

OT: Playing Skyrim. Had to mod it get borderless windowed but it solved the choppy camera mess. Too bad all fire textures now have a faint black line around them but it's hardly noticeable enough o really bother me.

Trying to unfuck AMD. Sigh...

Out of nowhere after the driver update some games in fullscreen get camera jitter when looking at some objects while staying at 60FPS and rolling back drivers didn't fix it. Windowed and borderless doesn't have the problem.

Next card is Nvidia. I'm tired of all the crap this card and it's drivers have put me through in like the 6 months of having it.

I only kill wasps when they get in the house because the last time one managed to live it built a nest up in our attic. And apparently us living in the house is a threat to the hive, making them super aggressive, cuz we were getting sneak stung for seemingly no reason on a daily basis until we got rid of the nest. And they built it in like the hardest to reach corner of the attic too.

I'm fine with bee's though. We have a rosemary bush covering half our front yard and hundreds of bees out there and never have I had any trouble with them. I'll go out there some times and just watch them and they've never even so much as landed on me once.

Overwatch Beta. I've almost given all the classes a try but there's one I'm probably not gonna bother with named Bastion because it's how you cater to the lowest common denominator (It's basically Overwatch's Point n Click adventure. There's so little skill involved it's frightening.)

So, apparently having a photographer for a dad has more benefits than initially thought. After years of bickering at my old camera and my inability to take RAW photo's or have any real control over manual, I finally got surprised with a trip to a camera store my dad always goes to. Apparently he goes there so much that one of the senior employees knows him real well, because I got a shiny new camera(24 Megapixels and RAW capability FINALLY. The detail in the pictures are amazing.), a new tripod, an extra lens (long zoom), extra battery, memory card, 2 UV lens protectors, and a camera bag for like 400 dollars. Which is about how much the camera by itself should have cost.

I want to go out and just go crazy with the thing soon.
