  1. My feelings about art are often not easy to put into words other than "I like it" or "I don't really like it" and I hate making comments like that because they're generally useless comments. So unless I actually have something constructive to add I usually remain silent.

OT: I'm in a pretty good mood. Met up with a friend today and have been having a blast being silly on the forums. Mostly in the Remove a Letter game.

  2. Just keep in mind the difficulty curve between hard and expert is astronomical. Like some of those songs are practically impossible with a keyboard on expert because the key layout makes some of those configurations physically painful to do.

Also, hold the keyboard like a guitar. It looks stupid but makes it much easier XD. thumb to strum with enter/shift and f1-f5/1-5 for the notes. 1/f1 is accept, and 2/f2 is cancel.

OT: Watching youtube videos and probably actually going to play PhaseShift again and just do practice mode so I can not break my wrists on the crazy parts and still play the songs.

  3. Taking a possible forever break from PhaseShift.

Keyboards were not meant for guitar hero and neither was my carpal tunnel. Ow...

aside from keys making it impossible to slide around the notes and my wrist screaming up a nerve storm, the game is really well made. Also finding out that a WoodenToaster + MicTheMic song is part of the included songs was an interesting find.

That's my case. It's pretty big and judging by the amount of space around the processor fan I don't think size will be too big an issue.

I should clarify that as long as the fan noise is not "loud" I can accept it because currently even the slightest ramp up in processor use and it starts screaming. It's not necessarily the temperatures making it that loud, the fan itself is just super noisy. Like, my desktop idling shouldn't sound like my laptop running at full performance.

I'll look into the ones you mentioned. As much as I'd like the higher end ones I simply can't afford it right now.

  5. My desktop is using an AMD FX-8350 and I want to swap out the heat-sink fan in it. While it's not overheating, since it is an AMD processor it runs a bit on the warm side even when idle. Occasionally it'll drift close to the red but has never actually gone into and I'd like to keep it from ever going into it. Not to mention the fan that it came with is pretty small and incredibly noisy.

What I want is a fan that runs quietly, and more efficiently than the stock fan while still being affordable(I'm not entirely sure what constitutes a good price for these but preferably under $50 since that's all I can spare for one at this time). I'm not looking for water cooling since it doesn't get nearly hot enough to need that. Does anyone have a few suggestions as to what would be good?
