I scoff when people talk about other games being unforgiving.* I'm so afraid of becoming reliant on anything in that game due to the sheer scarcity of everything that isn't uncut wood or nails.

*Not really but this IS the most unforgiving game I've ever played...

Spec Ops: The Line. Beat it.

That game was something else. I went in with only the heads up that the game will emotionally fuck you up. Well it did. Hard.

Watching a video that someone put up on another site with the comment "A hilarious oldie from the days when youtube was actually good."

Haven't actually laughed, only a couple of mild chuckles. Just a bunch of "drunk" people playing Halo and saying incomprehensible gibberish into their mic's. Guess that's comedic gold for some people.

Spec Ops: The Line

Terraria. Once again a new character. I've beaten the game on expert using everything at my disposal now it's time to start doing challenges. First one is gonna be ranged only. All of this of course in expert.

I was thinking of doing a movie or something tomorrow or maybe spending the day at the aquarium near the beach. Air is always significantly cooler there and there's a breeze.

Relaxing and browsing while marveling at how uninstalling Akamai NetSession sped up my page load times astronomically.

I feel like the 16 years before I got air conditioner was training for this day. Because we're in a mini heat wave (mini as in small time span but heat wave none-the-less.) and my air conditioner just broke.

It's 90 degree's inside right now(was almost a hundred earlier before the sun fully set) at 5 in the morning. And humid. VERY humid.

Except for my room, which I managed to drop down to about 80-81 through clever uses of open windows, night air, and small fans that make really loud noises. On top of that I'm keeping my core temperature down through application of what I used to use before the air conditioner. So right now I'm sitting here with a wet shirt on, a soft icepack on the back of my neck and a fan blowing directly at me. Currently I feel like I'm sitting in about a 72 degree room.

California, you're gonna have to do better than that to get me >

Unfortunately this will get a bit harder once the sun comes up. My room doesn't get a lot of direct sunlight thanks to a very nice and very tall tree right outside of it but the rest of the house is a different story.

My body is ready for this apparent emotional rollercoaster. I just hope it doesn't have too many prerendered cutscenes. Those crash my PC.

I'm on windows 7 so no. I'm gonna try the clean installed drivers this weekend.

As for how I feel, super tired. I have no reason to be but I am.

Straight up Peanut butter and nutella. Like, on a small plate in 2 separate piles.

I'm also eating it with a butter knife.

Speaking of poems I'm huge into poems so if anyone has any I'd live to read em. Unfortunately I only ever seem to be good with words when I'm not trying so I don't have any written myself.

Favorite kind have some sort of rhyme scheme since I like how those flow.

Looks pretty good. Some of the geometry conflicts with the smoothing feature but overall has a good consistency.

As for animating, I tried that a little bit in Max. Not fun lol. Probably didn't help I was working with broken motion capture. I just feel there's probably better animation software out there.

So I just ripped part of my big toe nail off just now when it caught on the wheel of my office chair (I have no idea how, I wasn't watching when i felt it).

Strangely enough it doesn't hurt. I mean it did initially but right now, nothing. I do have to shampoo the rug in my room now though for obvious reasons.

Odd mix of frustration, annoyance and that mood that just makes you laugh at things that aren't funny because you're really happy or excited or something.

Frustration and annoyance because my crashing problems still continue and I've narrowed them down to video files in general but the other feeling comes from the fact that I just realized I know much more about computers and learned how they work by trying to fix one that doesn't quite work. Like it's problems can be practically anything, and because of it I can identify and troubleshoot most issues I come across. I say most because THIS CRASH IS STILL HAPPENING.

I don't want to think of the odds that I may have gotten a faulty replacement to a faulty card but that may just be it. I should maybe consider completely uninstalling everything related to my cards drivers and reinstalling them first.

It's been a long time since I played it but I recall there being SOME unlockable cars just not many. I could be confusing it with another Burnout though. Like I said, been a very long while.

I'd give it a read to sometime. Maybe not right away since I'm backed up on more than a few stories I really want to pick up again.
