  1. Well I've begun modding with Oblivion and all I can say is that I find it far easier than the Source SDK. Unless you want to use things from the Shivering Isles expansion then you wont need the latest version ( 1.2) of the TES IV construction set ( which is the one with the broken lip sync). Modding tools have been confirmed by Bethesda, though was it ever really in doubt? Hopefully just as easy to use as it's previous iterations.

Here's the tutorial I'm using at the moment- http://cs.elderscrolls.com/constwiki/index.php/Category:A_beginner's_guide

It might not be as good for you as it was for me because it's made for total modding newbs it is a great beginners tutorial, the same site also has tutorials on how to build more complicated things like shops and dungeons etc.

  2. I haven't really played anything on the SNES, my friend however has spent about the last 5 years with nothing but an SNES emulator on his old 90's PC.

Not a bad way to spend 5 years if you have a decent set of games...

Not playing SNES before your 18th birthday should be a crime.

If I'm not mistaken a lot of them were Asian games without translations.

  3. Maybe I should show you guys some bro-speak.

    Solle - Person

    Gee - Person

    Bro - Person

    Shana - Person

    'Sup - hello

    T'sup - hello

Jandals - Flip flops/ thongs/ whatever the hell you guys call them

    Whare - Home

Boot - The trunk of your car

Adding the word -as to the end of a word to intensify it's meaning e.g. cool --> cool as

    Sweet - Awesome

    Smashed - Beat someone up

That's not NZ slang, that's just bro-speak. Mostly derivatives of Maori and Polynesian words. A lot of that Aussie slang is NZ slang as well.

    *EDIT* Here's some NZ slang-

I'll have you know that quite a few of those words are only used by rural's.

  4. I remember exactly where all the ammo is on my favorite maps as a spy with the Eternal Reward so I can cloak all the way to the enemy base then uncloak and back-stab everyone travelling to the objectives, Payload is the best game type for that style of play.

  5. I dislike them because they ruin a perfectly good art style. And why on Earth would I pay money for a hat? That's just absurd.

Sounds like you just read some complaints off of the Steam forums. And you don't have to pay money for them, they're there if you want them. Even if you want hats but don't want to pay money then you can just craft them.

  6. If any of you want Alien Breed 2: Assault, just get 3 tickets from doing the Steam achievements and then redeem them on AB2 and you can get it for free. You also go in the draw to win the top ten games in your wishlist.
