Negerbollens... I'm pretty sure from my limited knowledge of other languages that the better translation would be "black balls", I thought the "word" nigger came from the Spanish word for black - negro and the english-speaking slavers butchered the name up a bit. It's very likely I'm wrong though as a few of these things are assumptions I've made due to the fact I don't really care that much about it.

I actually only like it because it's catchy, I don't actually know who Ted haggard is XD, though from the sound of that song it sounds like he is a gay priest?

Time to move onto something else I suppose, at least until someone posts another arguement, maybe I would prefer to debate with philosophers if they are like you ( more open-minded towards different points if view ). We need to have a debate's/science section in free-for-all ( did ThatSmartGuy suggest that? Can't remember...), I really enjoy these debates we have but it's annoying to have to sift through pages of stuff like the random thread to find the good debates.

I'm using Kirk's AF ones ATM, have been for a while. I like to place my icons in places that aren't covered in lava though so my screen is a mess -_-

You're all over the place dude, jumping from topic to topic without sufficently backing up any of your claims with evidence. Call me a robot if you like but I think- evidence > claims - sorry if you think that's not how I should view the world but don't think philosophy can explain the functions of the world anywhere near as well as science can.

That was the bit I didn't understand, daniel posted what my reaction to that was though. And no the topic is not disproving evolution, where did you get that idea? The debate is centered around whether or not creation "science" (lol) should be taught in schools. It shouldn't, full stop.

@DoomShepard Sorry about that comment but I've just been wound up a bit tightly these last few days since my dad's just been taken into hospital because of a heart attack, which in turn is bringing up a lot of memories from when my mum died. I guess I was just a bit angry with the world so don't mind me.

 

 

Okay, I understand that. You wouldn't have believed some of the stuff I posted online around the time my girlfriend accidentally OD'd on her pain meds and almost died. (That was a few years ago, long before this. Everything's good now.)

 

So in the spirit of international goodwill, hows about we declare peace?

Seems like my dad will be okay, he'll be hopefully getting out of hospital sometime this week. He'll be on 4 different drugs for the rest of his life but hopefully they'll stop him getting anymore heart attacks, he's gonna have to quit smoking though and I'm going to have to stop stressing him out.
