  1. I didn't want it to come to this. God fucking dammit. This is almost as bad as when the Nostalgia Chick found out there was guro porn of her.

WELL GREAT. NOW I KNOW WHAT GURO PORN IS.

I COULD HAVE GONE THROUGH MY LIFE WITHOUT KNOWING THAT AND I'D HAVE BEEN HAPPY.

  2. Personally, I was kind of excited from the trailer because I thought the game would take a serious approach to zombies. But from what I've heard it doesn't do it that well.

It doesn't do that at all. Just think Borderlands with zombies if you want to imagine what the game is like, it's one of the reasons why I now hate CGI hype trailers.

It's also a total piece of crap on the PC.

  3. School stories?

    K.

I was in Design class for 5th period today, as usual the class is being stupid but as I'm working I hear this from behind me-

"Bro, if rape was legal would you do it?"

"Fuck yeah bro, like every day."

    "Yeah me too."

  4. A topic to discuss Kickstarter projects in general. Specifically game-related.

Looks like a few doors just opened up for veteran developers in the gaming industry, thoughts?

  5. Just played the demo, it's nice and long and the MP is quite enjoyable. I did have a few problems though, Mass Effect 2's combat seemed better and the melee is just as bad as before. Also, there seems to be hardly any ambient noise for some reason, which sounds really strange after the attention to detail the other two games got in the audio department.

It was also boring. After 30 minutes of it I just felt like playing some Tribes, I didn't feel invested in anything though that's probably because the demo is just cherry-picked parts of the game. Won't be buying it until it goes on special I guess, I still have to do another ME1 run-through because all my saves got lost when I switched PC's (my own fault). Since I haven't read any of the hype or articles I hope to be pleasantly surprised when I pick it up later in the year, though MP will be so dead by then.

  6. Ive been playing a good share of skyrim, and I was thinking of getting oblivion, but Im afraid I wont like it because Skyrim is so good and smooth. Although Ive not played any game more than fallout 3, Im still worried Ill just find oblivion slow (if you know what I mean). Any ideas? (Im sorry for kinda spamming this thread, but I just thought this was the right place to ask this).

Depends what you liked about Skyrim. If you like the TES lore and atmosphere then you'll probably enjoy it, magic in it's boring compared to Skyrim but the combat system's equally as dull in both games.

Don't wait for a remake. It'll be 3-4 years if there's one at all if it's made by modders.

irst off, an ARG is an Alternative Reality Game, not augmented but Alternative. It uses a real world context to solve puzzles using a community based group to eventually lead to a bigger goal. In this case we don't know what the goal is... yet. Second off, it seems that a lot of people are thoroughly confused as to what is going on with this PotatoFools ARG. It is not your fault. The past few days have been none the less very perplexing for a lot of us. I will attempt, in my best efforts to do three things in this thread:

1.) Attempt to plug Steam User's own podcast. Listen to the Steamcast Podcast (especially not yet released episode 56 and 57) and I will explain everything in a chronological order.

2.) To combine all the info that is out there into one central thread for your viewing and reading pleasure.

3.) Dismiss all the Red Herrings. i.e. Fake theories.
