Was about to buy Bulletstorm. Then I saw it costs $70 US.

The Eagle pistol is 170k, that effectively makes the spinfusor totally useless.

I finished HL1 with no cheats on hard, but I just noclipped through the Xen portion of Blue Shift, that expansion was so shit compared to OpForce.

It matters not, that price is ridiculous. That's $10 worth of gold.

I'm optimistic about a lot of games. Dishonored, Metro: Last Light and Bioshock: Infinite are a few examples.

But our tastes in games obviously differs fairly dramatically.

Ah yes Syndicate, the game that was originally an amazing real-time isometric tactical game, and on almost every "best game of all time" list- is being turned into a mindless co-op FPS.

Not some FPS with the franchise's name slapped on to bring in more sales.

No, in the original EULA it actually allowed them to scan your hard drive and sell the information to third-parties. It still does, it just has a big disclaimer at the top saying they would never risk the trust of their customers.

Steam does the exact same thing but you can opt-out, Origin doesn't allow you to.

They made a quality product and then released the same thing every year until even the idiots who've bought it every year get sick of it.

see: Tony Hawks, Guitar Hero, Medal of Honor, Call of Duty etc. etc.

They all started off fairly innovative, but then they just flood the market with the exact same game every year. It killed off the rhythm-music genre, it killed the arcade skateboard genre, it killed the WW2 shooter genre and soon the modern military shooter will be on the list of genres that died because EA and Acti lack any control.

How's everyone found the latest patch, I love the new UI and I especially love how after all that grinding for 3 classes I can suddenly unlock all of them plus a load of upgrades.

Liking the remade Bella map, not sure about my thoughts on the way bigger defensive forces that occupy enemy bases though.

I just used my biotic powers on the human reaper and killed Harbinger with a shotgun when he jumped into my cover. Otherwise I just kept my team alive with my stockpile of medi-gels and hoped they stayed alive to beat back the collectors.

The worst bit for me was when you're using the biotic create a shield to defend you from those fly things, then they decide it's a good time to send two Scions to attack you. Who have massive health pools and can kill you in two shots.

Not to mention all the husks/abominations that keep spawning while you're holding off this Scion.

Hopefully Uwe Boll's still the director, his artistry is only bettered by his peer Michael Bay when it comes to the world of cinematography.

The size of the game isn't an opinion. It's objective.

I don't know why people act as if making jokes about the level design is his main source of humour. Sure it's amusing but there's a reason there's only about 3 or 4 in FM.
