I feel so left out when people talk about all these new weapons because I've been ignoring TF2 for a couple months now.
QFT
Only played once in the last few months and that was yesterday with Figgy.

I imagine Blighty would connect with this song.

Lightwave is the way to go, man. Only do Maya if you work in large groups or your clients are picky.
Maya is industry standard, every big game dev (apart from Crytek, who want 3DSMax as well) requires knowledge of Maya and Mudbox if you want to be employed.

Since when was CoD an EA franchise?
All of the IW team came from EA's Medal of Honor franchise.
that does as well on PC as it does on consolesNot fiscally, nowhere near.
Oh and from what I've heard, IW left Activision over money, not because of any artistic reasons.IW didn't leave Activision, the two creators of the Modern Warfare series did. The entire reason the twenty or so IW team members left EA was because they were sick of creating the same game over and over again, which is exactly what they're doing now.
It gives the franchise consistency imoYou can give consistency without releasing the same game once a year.
minus some features that I honestly can live without.Do those features include waiting a month for DLC?

You are likely to be eaten by a Grue.
If this predicament seems particularly cruel..
Consider who's fault it could be..
Not a match or a torch in your inventory....

[Questioning tone] Since sarcasm is [light sarcasm]"so hard" to detect in text, [heavy sarcasm] maybe we should all act like Elcors online.

I'll be getting into 3D animation and game design post-tertiary. Right now I'm doing 8 hours a day construction work at $15/hour, no tax either since it's all in cash under the table so I'm earning around $120 a day or 1 new game a day if I wasn't paying off my gaming rig.

MW3 didn't shit all over the franchise in my opinion. I personally consider it the best in the franchise so far out of all the CoD games I have played.
Neither did CoD start out as one of the best RPG's ever and turn into a shitty half FPS half RPG hybrid with bad "smart aim", tons of glitches and a boring story. MW3 is actually a ton more enjoyable for me than Fallout 3 and it's a TON more solid as a game engine (to this day, MW3 has never crashed for me). And at least MW3 has multiplayer.
COD started out as a PC exclusive balanced multiplayer game with a SP made to give celebrate other countries that fought the Axis during WW2 such as Canada, SA etc. Not just USA and England.
Now it's a unbalanced mess of multiplayer with a scripted out the ass "cinematic" campaign about how Russia hates America. The original members of IW hate what the COD franchise has become. They left EA so they could stop making copy-paste FPS games that are released every year with little to no innovation or changes (see: Medal of Honor franchise).

Physics helps fighting, because it trains your mind to be able to accurately judge the bullet trajectories.
No you can estimate the trajectory, something which every human with two eyes and a functioning brain can do. Hell, the ability to throw things and accurately judge where it was going to land is the thing which aided the most to our evolution.

Virtual reality indistinguishable from real life. Imagine exploring a world like Skyrim from the shoes of your character. You'd taste the food, feel the weight of the sword and armor. Maybe they could even recreate the feeling of energy coursing through your body when you fire off a self healing spell. Just imagine for a moment how awesome that would be.
And the awesome feelings of pain as you took a sword to the chest and an arrow to the knee.

Luckily I only spent about 3 months as a pirate, so I didn't get a large library of stolen games on my HDD.
