  1. All I have is a laptop. Granted, a pretty good gaming laptop, but still.

In most cases "Pretty good gaming laptop" translates to "Overpriced mediocre PC" in my experience.

Yeah but a laptop has dual purposes, show me a PC that can make you sterile.

  2. MW3 ftw

I probably killed more aliens in SS3's Minigun introduction section than you killed Evil Foreigners in MW3 in its entirety. Maybe MW2 combined as well if you count the part where the Minigun is still a turret.

O.T. Batman: Arkham City. I died so many times playing the endgame on the normal playthrough. Yet I finished the end game on New Game Plus in one swift move.

I just bought Arkham Asylum but I'm yet to install it. GFWL keeps putting me off, I know it'll be a long drawn out fuck about just to get it to work. >_>

  3. You have to get a word of power, hover over it, and click "unlock shout" (whatever that is on Xbox, on PC it's "R". It tells you on the bottom of the screen).

The rune spells are basically proximity mines, you just fire one on the ground and when someone (or something) runs over it, it'll explode.

  4. F.E.A.R. Extraction Point.

Not nearly as long, but hella fun and it came with F.E.A.R. when I bought it over steam. Lots of unexpected stuff.

About to start Perseus Mandate in a little while.

I'm yet to finish the main storyline, I love the gunplay in this game though.

  5. Working perfectly for me, I only use it for BF3 though. Even Battlelog has grown on me, it's nice just setting up a game, checking the forums, then checking back and seeing that I'm ready to play. It assures that I hardly see a single loading screen.

Also, flying skywards in a jet then skydiving out to see the entire map crawling with jets, heli's and tanks below you is a sight to behold. Truly, BF3 is the master of spectacle.

  6. Was just playing Resistance: Fall of Man, which I got for Christmas. I don't think I'll ever play it again, because of the controls.

A: Aiming is awful. For some reason, they thought it was a good idea to make Y camera movement slower than X movement, without any option in that regard. This means, if I want to move the crosshair Southwest, I can't do the logical thing and move the control stick down and to the left, at 45 degrees. I have to instead aim for South-south-west because of the difference in Y and X movement. It feels like I'm controlling the camera with etch-a-sketch knobs...

B: You hold a button to crouch, yet using sights is a toggle. Once again, this can't be changed in the options. WTF?

C: Oh, and the game's visuals have not aged well... there's that too.

It's because it was a PS3 release game. Release games are always bad :P
