I'm more on the middle ground. It also depends on where you draw the line between modern and classic. Do you say PS1 era and earlier is classic, or everything before PS1? PS2 and up feels too modern. Like as much as I enjoy FF10 and 12, I enjoy 3-9 even more (I would put 1 and 2 on that list, but never beaten them, barely touched them). However, I enjoy GTA: SA and 5 more than VC and earlier. (GTA 4 is shit imo). I enjoy the first three Harry Potter games (especially on PC) more than the later ones. Again, I'd say I'm somewhere down the middle.

If you can speedrun a co-op game then by all means you should be allowed to

If you have an itch to speed run a game, do it in your own terms. Co-op is meant to be an experience, you're meant to have fun with your friend(s). Dick around even. If you're speedrunning, especially with glitches, you're leaving everyone else behind, and it's not fun.

Not really. It's possible the publishers pushed for co-op the last minute, thus the developers didn't have time to put in a proper co-op mode.

Conflicted, confused, and doubting

So I saw my crush for the first time in a month. Had a last minute decision to go to a party, was an hour late. Over all it was meh. Crush showed up with in the last 20 minutes. She said hi, I hugged her, side hug, for like a second. My fault for not holding on, it was completely one sided. Stupid me. On the plus side, she looked at me, and it felt like she was smiling. We made, snd contained, eye contact. It was too dark to tell if she really was smiling. She asked how I was doing, if I was working, where at, and my hours (I swear none of my friends remember). I wanted to continue the conversation, but nothing came to mind. It felt like she was waiting for me to ask her a question. When nothing came, the conversation kinda just dropped, and she kinda moved on.

Doesn't help that my social skills suck big hairy saggy donkey balls.
