Using Speccy to see if anything's overheating. CPU average temp is 70 degrees Celsius. Any recommendations for a better CPU fan? Do note, currently I'm just surfing the web, nothing taxing.

Well I've vented about my computer issues here earlier, so you could see it as just continuation of said vent . Plus, I really don't know where else I could have posted that.

It's essentially the free version of those purchased things... Besides, it's almost more fun making the trainer than it is playing the game. lol

So yes, lazy and impatient people.

At any rate, I don't plan on using any of the microtransactions, dunno if I'll get the game soon, or wait for price drop. I want to play MD, but I don't want to support microtransactions in single player games.

In other news, I've thrown everything at my computer, even the kitchen sink, AND IT STILL FUCKING SHUTS DOWN! Oh hey, that's the second emotion I've felt, other than sadness, in a while. Creeped out, and anger. Both in one day. Yesterday was only one other: Laughter. Only lasted about 10 minutes. Maybe I suffer from minor Depression. I don't know. The only thing left to try is reinstalling Windows. That's gonna be my weekend project.

Well if reinstalling Windows doesn't fix it then it might be your HDD itself in which case you'll have to get a new one. But if that's the case then whatever you do do not cheap out and buy a Seagate HDD. I learned that the hard way and by the hard way I mean I had to reinstall windows 5 times till it clicked in my brain that the HDD itself was the problem. Not my best moment or favorite experience.

Yeah reinstalling did Jack Shit. His butt's sore now. Joking aside, I'm trying everything. Event log just says encountered something unexpected, and decided best course of action was to shutdown. I don't think a professional is going to help. Going to try replacing CPU, motherboard, and then if those two still fail, save $1,000 and buy a new gaming PC.

But the game never forces you to make these transactions, it's just kinda saying "hey, this is here if you need it". And the game is perfectly playable without ever making them so... meh.

I heard Praxis Kits are part of the microtransactions. Is it possible to get all of the upgrades without spending real money?

Office Space - Three office workers decide to rebel against their greedy boss. Very funny comedy. If you enjoy Beavis and Butthead, or any other of Mike Judge's works, you'll love this.

Fight Club - An insomniac office worker meets up with a soap maker and form a fight club, which turns into something much more.

Idiocracy - Another movie by Mike Judge. It's scary, and sad just how true this comedy about how dumb America has gotten 500 years into the future. is becoming nowadays, and it's only ten years old. Basically it's Mike Judge's version of Futurama.

The Prestige - A movie about the rivalry between two illusionists in 1900's London. Great performances by Hugh Jackman, Christian Bale and Michael Caine. I wouldn't call it underrated as much as unseen(which is really weird considering it's a Christopher Nolan film). If you like those movies which make your head go boom at the end and prompt you to rewatch at least once more, then this is the movie for you.

 

Also David Bowie plays Nikolai Tesla.

Tin Cup - Washed up golf pro tries the US Open. Even if you're not a sports/golf fan, I still recommend you watch this. It gets better every time you watch it.

Cube - Six complete strangers of widely varying personality characteristics are involuntarily placed in an endless kafkaesque maze containing deadly traps.

Phone booth - Contained spaced movie. Dude answers a ringing call in a phone booth (no way this movie would work nowadays) where he finds he's being blackmailed by a mysterious caller/sniper who has him in his sights.
