Skippable cutscenes
Nothing's worse than watching a ten minute cutscene right before a difficult boss, only to have it kick your ass to Pluto and back, and you have to watch the cutscene again. I'm looking at you FFX.
Pausing at any time (especially during cutscenes)
Just imagine: You just finished a battle gauntlet, then a cutscene plays, suddenly a wild urge appears:

Luckily you can pause! So off you go, and good thing too, because you could've missed that vital cutscene that informs you that your dad's the big bad.

It's like if Xenoheart took Leon/Squall's body as a new vessel and became Leon-Xenoheart

Randomly started watching a movie I found on TV - An American Werewolf In London.
Honestly, best 80's film I've ever watched. Fucking hilarious. One of those 'the main character doesn't win' films.
8/10, just glorious.
Of course the American Werewolf doesn't win, London's got the greatest wizard of all time: Albus Dumbledore.

You, and your friends decide to go to a town for an event. Among one of your friends, is a trouble maker, the "shoot first ask questions never" kind of friend, the kind that thinks of himself. You go to the town, and not only do you find that the townsfolk has built a statue to honor your friend, but he's seen as a legend, and there's even a song about him. How do you react?

I remembered I played Fallout New Vegas and Bioshock 1, both for the first time, around the same time. (Fun fact: New Vegas was the first Fallout game I played). I felt like Bioshock should have been an open world sandbox like game (just imagine exploring the outside underwater areas in a sub), and that F:NV (along with 3) should have been the linear (with backtracking) game.

Chrono Trigger DS. Robo is broken in the DS version.
First, give him Dragon's Tear (unique to DS) that increases the chance of critical hit.
Next, equip him with Apocalypse Arm (again, unique to DS). It's the weakest weapon in the game. So, why equip it? Every single successful critical hit deals nine thousand nine hundred ninety nine damage. (Yes you read that right.)
To put things into perspective, the super optional boss in the DS version, Dream Devourer, has thirty two thousand HP.

Search online, find out it's life threatening, panic, do nothing, have it heal on it's own, realize the internet's full of shit again.
You save the day, celebrate, get drunk, and the next day, you find out you got married, what do you do?

I personally fully agree with you, there is no significant difference in the feel of the environments
It's not just that the environments aren't different it's that they're so dull and uninteresting. Fallout 1 & 2's environments are soulless, artless, uninspired, generic husks which quite frankly are an embarrassment to some IRL deserts that have some pretty unique characteristics. In general Fallout 1 & 2's art direction is pretty damn terrible.
I actually find Fallout 4's environment more exciting, just ond of the reasons it's my favorite of them.

16GB is overkill, and tells me the game's poorly optimized for PC.
OT: Theaterythm Curtain Call
TBH I got a bit emotional just from listening to the music.

if you own the original games on steam you will get the remastered version for absolutely free!
What if you own two of the three? Cause I only own 1 and 3.
Now I'm interested... lol
Bioshock is one of those games that really needs the remastering, if only to give it better compatibility with modern systems.
If you legally own...

18 Quintilian planets, the odds of encountering anther player, slim to none, slim at best. Like with many games, people let their imaginations run wild with what they imagined the game would really be like, and what they would be doing. People hyped the fuck out the game. The company dancing around some subject matters, like multiplayer. The delays.
So, do you think this game was doomed to fail? If so, why? For me, I think so, and the biggest reasons being the people, us customers. We hyped the fuck out of it, we let our imaginations run wild. When the game was released, it didn't live up to our expectations. We claim Hello Games lied to us, but in reality, I feel we lied to ourselves.
