I love and hate SFM. I love it, because I can make animations, something I've always wanted to do as a kid, but wasn't really good enough at drawing, let alone 2D/paper animations. I hate SFM for multiple reasons, one of them being I'm limited to what I can, and can't do. Let's say there's a certain gag I want to do that's a reference to a certain coyote and roadrunner. I can either use, let's say, a Scout and a Pyro. I could also find a coyote and roadrunner model in the worksh-nope, doesn't exist. Maybe I could import Gmod mod-nope, doesn't exist. Well I guess I could download Blender, and take months to learn how to make models, and textures, and whatnot, or have someone else make the models I desire for the project, and future projects, but that usually means paying them, and I don't quite have the means to do so. Now custom maps? I can do (to a degree), my biggest problem is, which version of Hammer? I've heard that the one that came with SFM is a broken mess of sorts.

It is Friday the 13th after all... Also, why haven't they upgraded their computers yet?

I selected the 'One month' plan, thinking that I would only pay once, and that's it. After that box/month, I would not be billed again (and again, and again, and again). You're stealing money from me because I did *not* select the 3, 6, or 12 month plan. Those are also false advertising, because what's the difference (besides the customers paying more money) between a 1 month plan and a 1 year plan, if you keep on charging us? (This is an email I sent to Nerd Block).

A couple of years ago, family was over for the holidays, I was woken up to have breakfast (pancakes). This was early (for me), so I was really tired, had my pancakes and then went back to sleep. When I woke up for real, it took me a while to realize I didn't dream the whole thing. I really did have pancakes.

I relate to this so much, especially when I'm in the middle of closing up. In fact, last night, I already had the money out of the cashier drawer, when I had a customer come in. Also, earlier that day (like an hour before I was to close up), a woman came in, with clothes to drop off, and was wanting one of them to be cleaned for free. Her reasoning? She didn't like how they turned out last time. Look, unless you have permission from my manager and/or the owner, I can't give you a made up discount or "forget" to ring up one of the clothing. The best I can do is ring all the clothing up, like I normally do, and leave a note for my manager. There's nothing I can do if she declines the free item (which she most likely will do).

I could use Google to find an avatar, but most of them, don't fit 110x110, and if I resize them to do so, they get messed up, like the character now looks fat for example, which I don't want. That, or none of them (that actually work) really jump out at me, or they're NSFW. So, I'm left with making my own, but that really limits my creativity, especially when it comes to SFM.

Have I ever told you how much I hate the avatar size restrictions on this site?
