  8. -GHX8dvuFUQ What would you do if flashbacks worked the same way as they did in tv shows (As in, it unfolded in front of you, and anyone else around you, and the past played out exactly as it was, even for the moments you weren't there.)?
  9. Hope I get a pass with my hazel (green/brown) eyes. What would you do if someone forgot to come up with a "what would you do if..." question?
  10. Disassembling an old computer for practice.

  12. It's 3 in the morning, after 15+ minutes of trial and error, I've not only gotten the mic working again on my headset, but I've also got it so that when I plug my headset into my computer, all sound goes to the headset, and when I unplug it, it goes back to my speakers. Long story short, I had sound issue(s), and now I've solved the problem. That, plus cleaning the inside of my computer the night before/last night (which was also around 3 am), I know have the mindset of "I could get a job as a computer repair guy/PC tech guy, or something along those lines. Hell, I would even take PC tech guy at a school". I wounder how long this career urge/mindset will last... (like with everything else, like robotics to video game design). My biggest questions/fears (concerning computer repair/tech guy, among other potential careers considering tech/computers) are "Am I overqualified? What about under-qualified?"
  13. I really hate permadeath. Every single game with permadeath is the same thing. Go around collecting and/or killing everything you see, while not dying. It doesn't matter how randomly generated each level/world/game/bathroom/dick/whatever it is, it's still the same thing. Played Binding of Isaac? You've played Runestone Keeper, Don't Starve, Duskers, Crypt of the Necrodancer, and every single bloody Rouge-like game in existence.
  14. My high school years (mainly 11th and 12th grade) I just coasted through, did things the last minute, got mostly B's. Hell, even my powerpoints were very minimalistic, and I would memorize make, and memorize my speeches the day/night before I had to present them. I would get A's on those. I even remember one of them. It was for English class where we had to give a speech on a favorite band. Seeing as I mostly listen to video game music (thus no real bands*), I used a loophole: The Black Mages (which I enjoy). My powerpoint was just pictures of the band members, and the three albums they made. The only words were the names of the band members, and the album names. Even got an A on it. * If any music experts out there (or here) consider people who play the music for video games a band, please let me know.
  15. Do you find yourself remembering a video game, but not the title? Do you remember vague details like "3D, FPS, crowbar, aliens, train ride", but no matter how much you focus on these things, you just can't figure out what the title is? Maybe one or two details are mistaken? Have you tried looking this game up, that you know came out in the late 90's or early 2000's, but you're not finding it? How bout you remember distinctive details like, "character never talked, first weapon was a crowbar, you worked at a science lab at the start, shit went bad and now you're fighting for your survival/trying to escape", yet you still can't remember the title? Maybe it's at the tip of your tongue? Well I got some news for you. In this thread, if you're trying to remember a game but can't find it, tell us here. We will try to help you! Be as descriptive as possible. Type up everything you can remember. Things like "it was a 3D game, the camera was behind the player, you could customize the character, I think puzzles were involved, it was on PC, I think it came out in the late 90's. Etc." The more descriptive, the better. Also, if you're helping out, maybe post a screenshot or two, add a link, whatever, be as helpful as you can. There are those lost games we want to relive, games we remember playing a demo of, but never got our hands on. Or maybe you played it at a friends house. I know I have some lost games I want remembering.
  16. Points for keeping your cool, a lot of people need to learn this. Also, real true friends wouldn't care if you don't always hang out with them. I'm going to reference an episode of a specific show that's basically taboo here, however, it's going to be in spoilers so if you don't want to see it, you don't have to. No one's forcing you. Also, yes, it is very relevant here.
  17. Story of my life really. Out of all the jobs I've applied, out of all the thing's I've tried, I've only had like 5 interviews, 1 job (which lasted 2 months), and like 3 of them were during job fairs or something or other, so they were basically interviewing everyone.
