It wasn't random, it wasn't funny, it didn't add anything. It was utterly pointless.

Exactly why I did it, I was bored, I found pointless links, and linked to them, it's random because it's unexpected, there was no method or real conscious decision, I did it to be bored. Turns out posting random pointless links to a site we all know and love is frowned upon, so I wont do it again. With that, thanks for informing me why it's wrong. Also apparently asking why is also frowned upon here and translated to one trolling. Because everything is trolling nowadays.

What's wrong with knowing why? Also, seeing as you haven't noticed, I have stopped, I just want to know why it's considered Spam? With what I have, I could say Chuck's bah humbagedness is spam. There's no backing, no explanation, it's just is, same with my links.

Wanting to know why something is considered bad/wrong isn't being stupid. I want to know so I don't accidentally do it again.

Hell: Trying to get a group to work on a project only to have them flake out on you, then apologize and promise to do it right away, then flake out again.

 

(As per Ross's post on "Stranger in Need", it's a feeling I know all too well.)

I've had the "oh yeah we'll work as a group" and then they do it all, leaving me out of it.

To volunteers: If I asked you for something simple, and you did it and replied faster than a week, congratulations, you're not who I'm referring to. Also if you had the courtesy to tell me you were too busy to help, I also appreciated that. All other volunteers: what the hell guys

The way I see it, it goes down like this:

You: "I need volunteers for a mystery video

Random people on the internet: *Oh hey, it's a mystery, so if I asked for help, I'll get a sneak peek of this mysterious video, maybe even see the whole thing before anyone else* "Hey Ross pick me! I want to help!"

You: *Tells them what to do or whatever it is you do*

Random people on the internet: *This isn't what I expected at all*

So then they walk away not realizing that they're further delaying great work, and making your job harder. That or they're like me and they easily get destrac- *starts up Skyrim*
