Torchlight 2 and some Borderlands.

Yeah I guess if you don't care for that kind of humor you won't enjoy it.
-
Yeah that's just sexy. Probably way out of my price range though.

I'm more of a goth myself.

Don't think so. The website is hosted on a variety of servers and anyone can take over running it.

Well this thread is a Total Recall...

I'm not talking about gameplay really. And I'm fine with turnbased combat personally since I grew up with it. I'm talking about the content. Fallout 2 had a ton of funny pop culture references and never felt like it took itself too seriously. It had some pretty over-the-top scenarios. You could literally make a guy explode by fucking him and could have sex to get good deals. While I am aware you can do this in Fallout 3 with mods the whole tone of the game makes such scenarios not fit in well and they just end up ruining the experience for me in Fallout 3. I feel Fallout 3's tone misses the point entirely and takes itself too seriously.

I'm fine with 30 fps personally. As far as I know, Firefox cannot take advantage of the new 60 fps YouTube yet and I use Firefox.

YEah I'd even claim it's a lot easier than Borderlands 1.

Oh I'm interested. I was just referring to why my review is negative and what my feelings towards Fallout 3 CONTENT wise are. Gameplay wise most of the bugs can be fixed and most of the issues can be fixed with mdos, yes. I'm just saying none of it really adds anything into the game that makes it as fun as Fallout 2 for me.

Oh, I agree completely. Ash was one of my favourite twists in Alien and such a terrifying concept. The Working Joes are possibly even more terrifying, but at least easily spotted cause of their glowing eyes.

Well, here's a link to a mod that fixes a lot of the game's issues, including some of the gameplay issues you specifically complained about in both reviews of yours that I have read. Obviously not all of them, and many things you didn't mention, but it does solve many of them and there isn't much there I have reason to believe you wouldn't like. http://www.nexusmods.com/fallout3/mods/20533/? EDIT: And just now updated to version 1.1. Both of you please let me know if you have any issues, alright? My review was of the vanilla game as I feel reviewing a game with mods would be unfair. And vanilla Fallout 3 is just a major disappointment when compared to Fallout 2. I mean, even with mods it still is in terms of story, tone and game feel and no amount of mods can fix the core issues with the game. That's not saying I hate the game or anything, in fact I love playing it, but I just don't think it holds up to the older games, especially Fallout 2 in terms of content.

I've heard people describe Pre-Sequel as "harder than Borderlands 2". I have honestly no idea what they are on about because so far it's the easiest of the games in my opinion. Though playing as Nisha that might have something to do with it.

The raid boss is incredibly easy compared to the raid bosses in Borderlands 2. My friend's level 20-something Athena could solo him.

I do play a fair bit of Fallout 3 now and then.
