Some time ago the forum was attacked by a mass of Russian (or it appeared so) spambots of different kinds. We had a few waves of them with dozens of posts in many threads. So that's the reason. Yeah it was really bad at some point... for me it was almost a daily routine to clean up spambot threads for a while...

Keeps the forum active almost single-handedly.
