The Matrix Revolutions since I actually enjoyed it.
Which one's Matt Smith. I pick him...90s Nick or 90s Cartoon Network (late 90s, so it includes old Spongebob)
Cartoon Network. Never liked Spongebob.
Spaghetti or pasta?

I like the remake of Most Wanted. Crappy isn't the word I'd use about it. It has its flaws yes but I enjoy it overall. I really love the Autolog features for one.
So yeah, I like EA. Sue me, whatever.

Hehe, let's try and stay serious here, guys. This is serious discussion after all. I know what I said may sound a bit "conspiracy nut" like but it's my belief and I am definitely not wearing any tinfoil hat or taking antidote to water.
But please, stay on topic.

My least favorite character is either Magnusson or Mossman, but most likely Mossman, because she's a gutless flip-flopper. At least Magnusson knew whose side he was on.
Yeah, Mossman also didn't really have that much personality and she felt very underdeveloped. She was just an obvious traitor from the get-go. Magnusson also felt a bit flat although I dug the microwave reference.
I think my least favourite character probably is Gordon himself though. He has zero personality, never says a word and we only know his backstory basically. While this is cool and all and lets the player be more immersed... I dunno, I guess I just prefer shooters like Duke Nukem Forever, Blood, Shadow Warrior, Eradicator or SiN where you have characters who talk. Gordon always felt very too much like Doomguy to me. I mean, either make him totally anonymous or give him a full personality. It just didn't work with Gordon imo. Giving him a backstory but zero personality just didn't make sense and still doesn't.
This is why I am such a huge fan of Freeman's Mind. Ross gives Gordon so much needed personality and quirks and I think everyone agrees on that. It's honestly more fun watching Freeman's Mind than playing the game.

Oh, and I've got Alyxx to thank for having every Valve game ever (Except CS:GO)
No one should have Steam and not own Valve games imo.

Don't really miss them to be honest. They never really made any games I'm any huge fan of. Sure, some of their games were cool, like Red Faction, but for me, they were always just kinda there. I don't really give a f*ck if you hate me for this, but I'm a bigger fan of EA in this case since they're behind some of my favourite games ever like Mass Effect, Bulletstorm, Syndicate, and not to mention Need For Speed and so on and THQ just haven't given me anything in particular that's been to my taste or has affected me like those games. Sure, Red Faction was really cool but it came kinda short for me.

I'd guess it was disabled so that the focus could be on Freeman's voice. Music would be pretty distracting. Which is exactly why he used music only when it was supposed to be distracting.
In other words, more control over the soundscape in the video which is essential when making videos. Not a big deal when gaming but keep in mind Freeman's Mind is not a Let's Play.
I'm guessing Freeman would either get really annoyed at it and shut it off or just ignore it.

Yeah, makes me imagine them as related to the aliens from Commander Keen, though ironically the vorticons are actually anthro dogs in Commander Keen and the one-eyed green aliens are called something else.

Of the NPC's I'd say Alyx is my favourite.
Enemies... not sure any of them was particular favourites however the meeting with the giant beaky tentacle monster in the rocket propulsion room was probably the most memorable moment and just the fact you have to beat him by turning on a rocket engine is kind of cool.

Back in 2001 or something me and a friend dropped by an internet cafe. Since there wasn't any other people there I stumbled about on one of their computers and found this popular game I had heard of called Half-Life. So I played it, thought the intro was unlike anything I had seen before and when I got to the room where everything goes to shit... My mind was blown forever. I knew I had to get this game somehow so one day I found the "Best Seller Series" edition from Sierra at my local game shop and it was a no-brainer. I bought it and since then it became one of my favourite PC games.

Welcome to the forums, Shy.

Probably some kind of Valve curse since Freeman's Mind is based on Half-Life... >_>

About to play Fallout 1 for the first time.

(Quite an adventure getting a game from 1997 to run properly on Windows 7).
It runs fine for me with a patch from No Mutants Allowed.

Where do you get this from, guys? Do you also believe in chemtrails?

Don't have to believe in chemtrails when they're definitely there...
But let's stay on topic...

I guess this thread could change into infinite Machinima complaints string.... I wish I could tell you all the insane Machinima "interactions" I've witnessed over the months, but I can't (for obvious reasons) I'm sure Ross's timeline will give you a good picture on that. If someone would treat me like that, I'd flip out after two weeks!
Ross has an infinite patience gene
I am tempted to lock the topic since we're not really doing anything else. But I guess it's best to leave it open.

When Ross eventually wrangles Machinima into submission, he could post all the episodes he's made in his hiatus in one, long, video. I mean heck, 2 average FM videos could be about 22-23 minutes, the length of a tv episode minus commercials.

Agreed. It's fine that people wanna give advice but giving advice based on assumptions is just not working.
