I don't know if any of the rumors regarding Machinima pertain to Scott's contract with them so any speculation on that matter should be kept to a minimum.

Gotta love when people exaggerate like hell about something. But yeah, personally, I guess as long as I have fun with a game, whether it's original or not never bothers me that much. The Syndicate remake is still one of my favourite games from last year.

Yeah, kind of a no brainer there. And I think it deserves the award if it wins too. I think it's better than the game it's based on and that's impressive considering I always preferred HL1 over HL2.

The game is pretty bad in my opinion. It has a great idea and concept but nothing's explained, you're given no reason why you should fear Slenderman or even how he's killing you so unless you're into that whole thing, the game is worthless. Also, a lot of textures are missing and the level design overall feels very weird and cheap and alot of the darkness just makes it worse. Also, the running sucks... But yeah, I like that it at least tries to scare you but really, it's a bit too basic for me.
