I agree about Doom 4. Considering they re-released Doom 3 this year, it might be a sign they wanna build up hype for it.

Never been into Halo personally.

Don't see any Sony links so it's most likely just malware.

Anyway, Killzone: Mercenary seems like a cool title I'd really could see myself getting a Vita for as I've always been interested in the Killzone games.

Personally, my most anticipated game is probably Aliens: Colonial Marines. I've already preordered the Collector's Edition so needless to say, I am pretty hyped. It seems to be a pretty solid FPS from Gearbox, who's one of my favourite devs atm. Otherwise, I am curious about the upcoming Tomb Raider game but I wouldn't say I am hyped about it.

Yeah, that's why it got the last spot on my list. If I had played more games this year I think the list would've been better but these are my favourites.

I'm glad I at least played enough games to make a top 10 list. While I agree it wasn't as strong as my 2011 list, which had freakin' DUKE NUKEM FOREVER on it, it's still solid. The top 4 games are easily my favourites.

Just figured out yesterday that since I got WipEout HD Fury as part of Sony's "sorry we let your stuff get fucked up" package, I can get it free on Vita! I paid $18 for 2048, and got about $12 worth of addons free. I'm digging this "cross-buy" stuff, we need more of that.

 

Also, no luck with my "two-player via cross-play" experiment. Looks like Vita goes to random lobbies so far, although the devs said they planned on adding more stuff, so maybe this will be fixed in the future.

 

I wonder if there'll ever be a feature where if you customize a character on one system it'll be the same on the other? They could call it "cross-dress". Wait... no...

Nah, you already have that feature irl, and it usually involves a lot of confusion.
