is it just me or does the large tentacle monster in blast pit seem a tad bit more responsive than before? as in it is more attuned to movement.

I'm just glad that you don't have to hold down shift to WALK in this mod. Dear God, in the original Half Life, I felt like I was gliding around on greased floors all the time.

Always Run belongs in Quake, not Half-Life. XD

Crouch jumping is one of the few things I dislike about Half-Life and Black Mesa strongly. It feels awkward, overused and just outright unnecessary.

But the overall game is too good to really feel like it ruins anything.

Not yet. I plan to finish it with Thadeus so I'm not playing without him.

Completed Deus Ex HR on the Hard difficulty.

Now I'm gonna make dinner and prepare for my non-lethal playthrough.

Well, I personally enjoyed his moment with the RPG, it made it stand out because he changed the voice a bit.

Got Borderlands Shoot'n'Loot 2 yesterday. I'm so happy right now!

And seriously, do you hear a big change in voice recording quality? Especially comparing to episode 43 where he was using a "temporary" microphone....

I hear his voice much clearer so I think he definitely benefited from getting a better one. Although overall I enjoyed the episode a lot because it felt very themed. Ross is very good at deciding when to cut the episode off, often when the level changes to another area. Like, the theme and setting of this whole episode was that cliffside and I loved how he used it as a central element of the episode.

If they pulled another one like in Shoot'n'Loot 1 I'd be pissed. But I seriously love the game so far.
