yes I did. When I clicked over where the video should have been, It just showed "movie not loaded" and hung there. Some movies, especially the ones owned by companies like VEVO refuse to be embedded, so that can explain it.

It just kind of sucks that the game relies on that before you play it in my opinion. I'm not really interested in the slender man myth either way. OT: Going to bed. See ya!

Yeah, totally. It feels very thin. Although I'll admit the Slenderman can get a good jumpscare out of me so they got that part right. But the game is just boring otherwise. Like you say, it lacks substance.

I just played Slender and OH BOY is this game overrated and overhyped. One: It's tediously boring since you spend most of the early parts of the game dicking around, looking for pages and you can't see shit without your flashlight, which runs out of battery eventually. And this is all you do, looking for pages. No plot, no characters, no story, no nothing, just you, going around, looking at badly drawn pages about some paranormal creature and gathering them. The game does pick up once you get the first page and as you get more pages it gets more intense but man... those first minutes are just downright a snorefest. Two: The graphics are horrible. The darkness thing seems to just be there to cover up the fact they suck. I mean, I played for a while and eventually found that some things even lacked texture. I know this is a beta game and ripping on the textures isn't fair but it really ruined the immersion for me. A lot of things seem just bland and boring and lacked anything that could help add some atmosphere to the game. So yeah, I hope this game becomes better over time. It's okay right now and it did get a scare out of me but... it's more fun watching the reaction videos to this game than actually playing it. I'll say this though, it does make a good job at giving you jumpscares. And at least it's not as tedious as Amnesia.

I feel that 3D is just a gimmick that takes away the focus from the actual story and the actual content in what you are watching. It feels like a distraction most of the time instead of making you immersed, and I can feel immersed in any 2D movie if the story is engrossing and the characters are well written, so in most cases 3D feels just gimmicky and superfluous. I guess it's because of most 3D these days being half-assed as you say but it's hard to focus on the story with a migraine and barely being able to watch the movie because it's so dark compared to 2D screenings.

Well, the myth that caffeine makes you more awake is a bit of a... myth. In fact, it actually stimulates your brain and makes you more focused and concentrated. That could explain why it makes daydreaming so easy for you.
